This Is The End...
This is the end...
Sorry everybody but my tastes are changing and I'm not as interested in or as hyped for Stranger Things as I once was and new responsibilities in my life will probably keep me from engaging with the fandom as I once did.

Is Matthew Modine still around?
Is he still full of bullshit?
I'm calling it: Stranger Things has the Harry Potter Problem.
The Duffer Bros basically are telling the same story with the same framework but just adding more characters every season and making it longer and or darker.
Just like all of the Harry Potter books.
I stopped reading after Goblet of Fire when I realized the same story was being told, only darker this time.
From everything I've read about this season so far is basically Dr. Brenner behind a curtain doing this about 001:

And meanwhile Eleven is getting violent with her Cali Bullies and Jonathan is turning into Hyde from That 70s Show, yadda yadda...
What pisses me off most about Stranger Things as a mock up of an 80s franchise:
Netflix fired their animation division right at the point in the series where in the 80s the live action show had enough pull to produce an animated series! We should have a DiC or Ruby Spears style spinoff where Eleven has a magical demogorgon friend who can talk and it's not connected to the continuity of the live action show at all. Hell, Netflix could have bought the DiC license from Cookie Jar out of it so it would be authentic.
