I figured out that daily stuff might not work for me right now but here's some random moments from the story

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

So I was thinking about Espresso in your au and I have compiled the evidence that leads me to believe Espresso was a reaper in the past or had connections with the reapers at one point, and wanted to share! (sorry for shitty formatting, I’m on mobile.)

First off, Licorice and Espresso’s relationship.

They used to be friends at one point, as stated in one of the recent posts about the au. But in the very first post, there is apparently some sort of process or instructions on what to do in the case of someone who isn’t ready to die accidentally encountering a reaper. Assuming that the process involves making the person who sees the reaper forget that person entirely, it wouldn’t make sense for Espresso to remember Licorice.

So why their relationship?

I’m not sure how the reapers function in this au, but I have two theories.

1. Reapers are the souls of the ones who never had a good life, and then in the afterlife are given the chance to become reapers to help the scared souls find their way into heaven. With this theory Espresso and Licorice might have been childhood friends who passed away and were reborn as reapers, but Espresso ran away later on.

2. People are naturally born as reapers, and Espresso and Licorice grew up and became reapers, only for Espresso to decide he didn’t want to be a reaper any longer and fled, posing as a mortal somewhere where he thought the reapers wouldn’t look for him.

Espresso seems to be familiar with the reaper world as well, with Espresso being frightened by the same throne room we saw Pomegranate and Dark Enchantress talking in, and being in the Soul Crystal cave. He also mentioned multiple Hells in a more recent post (though it may just be Espresso exclaiming and not mean anything plot specific.).

He also has connections with other people who may be reapers, such as Red Velvet, which is oddly suspicious. However it doesn’t seem he has ill intentions, as he genuinely cares for his students.
