Tessa was a little embarrassed, but... like all the times when she got distressed as a little girl and Nate was there to help cheer her up, she nodded. "M-maybe... I could use some help cleaning up the bottles..."she asked gently, "If... that's okay.." She stood off her bed, and adjusted her long plain cotton dress and smiled weakly at Nate before she walked over and turned on the bedroom light.

Tessa sat in her bedroom, she hadn't left in 4 days since the incident with the Feral J, she sat in the dark on her charger bed, with her laptop, bottles of strawberry oil were littered around the room so badly it was starting to smell like a Strawberry Shortcake Doll factory.

Tessa's hair, the glorious length that had been stolen from her, had been replaced with a long and tangled mess, tied up in a high ponytail. Still draped over her shoulders were the tensor bandages, even though the injuries had scarred over. She didn't also either bother wearing a pretty dress and bows, just a plain black cotton dress with a long floor length skirt. She sat looking at cute cat photos, but everytime she'd hear a sound, she would jump a little.

She no longer sang, or laughed, nor was even @sd-lowercase-j able to coax her gently back from this depressive episode.

Tessa had not only lost her anger and fight towards the feral J, but she had somewhat lost herself in the fray.

"Awww, Cyn, you're too precious and good," the drone replied, some happy tears in her eyes forming, "And you're also a little princess, you've been brave and strong for so long, and through so many tough things, and yet, here you still stand and I'm happy for you." Tessa started to hum the melody of Waltzing Matilda as she untied all the bows and set them aside. She laughed a little at Cyn's impression of herself. "Awww, just like when we used to play impressions," before she said in higher-pitched robotic voice, "I remember. We played this. Until Jaybird was. Annoyed. giggle!" She patted Cyn gently on the head before ceasing her melody as she stated cheerfully, "I sometimes get to wash the a wig while the drone is wearing it, but, it can be a little scary hearing a liquid that close to your auditory sensors..."

She turned on the taps letting warm hydrogen peroxide fill up the sink, the wig gently floating in the liquid while it fizzed, lifting away decades of dirt like it was nothing at all. "I love seeing it do this part, it looks so pretty seeing all the bubbles working their magic."

"Trying to interact with other worker drones... Has become difficult. They don't trust me." Cyn frowned.

"N-no, d-don't trust her... please... stay in where it's safe. Please... it's too dangerous... I... I can't even protect you if she were to try to kill you,"

I’m sorry about what happened back there. Now I’ve been . .told I need to be nicer to you. I don’t listen to people of authority but that was a suggestion, and by my freewill I decide I’ll try to bond with you. As long we keep our distance from each other, I don’t expect to instantly warm up to you

Either way, there’s one thing I’m still confused about. Why you called me "big sister" we haven’t met before besides that one encounter.

Tessa smiled at Cyn's words, fitting on the glossy new wig that was a lighter material so it being about chest length wouldn't put strain on Cyn's neck. "She was a wicked and vile woman," Tessa cheekily giggled before she went back to her box of accessories and found a headband with some yellow puppy dog ears and put it on Cyn's head gently. "There we go, as cute as a puppy."

She invited Cyn over to the peroxide wash station and helped her onto a step stool so she could watch
