She makes me feel safe... She always has. She's been there for me since I was a human girl.. She was my childhood friend, we spent hours and hours every day together. I remember one time.. I had to go for a measels shot... I was 9, I was really scared, and J held my hand and told me to be brave. I remember one time when I got stage fright when I was 12. My father invited a bunch of his work friends over to see my play the harp, and I was so scared... And, J was right there, in the wings of the stage, watching me play so I wouldn't feel afraid.

And all the other times, even the night I died, she was there, by my side.

She may be sometimes angry, she may be sometimes a bit distant, but... she cares, a lot... she's the reason why I'm here right now... And she kept my vessel as safe as possible, even if she did so for the wrong reasons... She's always been kind to me and protective.

I'd give everything for Jaybird... so, what do I see in her? So so very much, anon...

Dreams DO Come True!!!!!

So remember when I said a little while ago about my dreams and ambitions? Well, @worldslastredemption (J) and I were practicing flying, and we saw an old shop by the ridge near where her pod is but also pretty close to Outpost 3. We spruced up the shop and got the power working, changed the plumbing to pump bleach, varsol, and peroxide (all different sinks, mind you), we spent days working to get the doors open for this weekend, heck even @nate-doorman-elliot helped some. We went out and got more nylon, sewed some wigs for sale, got LOADS of hairdye and chemicals, it was fun raiding some old stores for Got2B products since it works with synthetic hair.

Either way, we are open now! Look out Copper 9, Tessa's back behind the chair, ready to style some hair!

So this is an open invite to any drones who wanna come by and get a touch up, or a whole makeover. Or maybe just a chat with some warm oil? Need your claws sharpened and buffed? We do that too!
