Cookies and Cuddles

｡.｡:∞♡*♥ Hi besties! I am back with more dad!skz fics! This time we have……*drum roll*......Baby bok and Felix! 

｡.｡:∞♡*♥Summary: Baby bok is a super cuddly baby and needs to be held, always. So, when Felix decides to bake cookies one day, he has no choice but to bake with his little baby bok strapped to his chest

You and Felix were both very cuddly and affectionate people. So, when you two found out you were going to have a baby, it was expected that baby lee was also going to be a cuddly little baby. Even so, that little baby was going to be cuddled, either way. Felix loved the idea of getting to cuddle cuddle your baby, holding them to his chest and having that intimate connection of love with your little one. And, as soon as baby bok was born, baby Mina was only calm when being held, crying when she wasn’t being cuddled. 

That’s what brings Felix to today. Mina was 5 months old, and looked like Felix when he was a baby, even having his giggle– it was too cute, honestly. He wanted to bake some cookies, having been craving them for a week. So, he was in the kitchen, Baby bok strapped to his chest in a carrier as he gathered the ingredients. “Is my princess okay? My baby bok.” He smiled, hearing Mina giggle. He loved baking, but it might be hard with a 5 month old baby bok strapped to his chest . Nevertheless, he was going to make it work. Throwing eggs, flour, baking powder and vegetable oil into a bowl he mixed them together. Cooing, he pressed a kiss to Mina’s head, feeling her grip onto his shirt and kicking her feet. “Is baby bok having fun? Are you helping daddy make cookies,hm?” He laughed, leaning to press a kiss to her little lips. Letting out a giggle, Felix turned to grab chocolate chips before preheating the oven. “Baby bok, should we add chocolate chips? Hm?” He cooed, carefully feeding her a single chocolate chip, seeing her mush her lips , tasting the chocolate.”Is it yummy? Does my princess like chocolate chips?” Felix smiled, seeing small bits of the chocolate melted around her mouth and wiped them away. Returning his attention back to the cookies, he added the chocolate chips to the batter, carefully folding it in and scooping teaspoon sized amounts onto a parchment paper lined tray.

Less than a minute later, the oven dinged to signal it was done preheating. “Baby bok, we gotta put the cookies in the oven, holding her closer to his chest and carefully sliding the tray into the oven. Closing the door, he set a 20 minute timer and kissed Mina’s head. “Now, we wait, baby. Then, we get to eat the cookies. Mumma will have some too, yeah?” He smiled, taking Mina out of the chest carrier to cuddle her to his chest; her face smushed on his  collarbone area and her small hands holding his shirt tightly. That was her favorite way to cuddle him and how she typically fell asleep ,every night. Gently, patting her bum, Felix turned his head to kiss her nose. “Does my Mina like cuddling daddy? Daddy loves cuddling his baby bok.” He smiled, as she looked up at him, her big chocolate colored boba eyes shining up at him. “Should daddy sing his baby bok a song?” He smiled, Mina nodding her head. Still swaying them, he thought of a song, deciding on you are my sunshine. She really was his– and your– sunshine. Cuddling further into Felix's chest, he started to sing. “You are my sunshine. My only Sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are gray. You’ll never know, dear , how much I love you. So please don’t take my sunshine away.” He softly sang, noticing how she dozed off, his song singing putting her to sleep.

Then the oven dinged. The cookies were done.

He figured, since Mina was asleep, he could set her down to take the cookies out of the oven. It would only take a minute. But, he should’ve known better. He quietly and quickly set her in her rocker, turning to grab the oven mit. However, Mina started whining and whimpering, noticing she wasn’t being cuddled by her daddy. At that, Felix rushed to her, picking her up and holding her on his side, so his other would be free to take the cookies out of the oven. Cooing, he held Mina close to him, as she immediately cuddled her face into his shoulder, hands gripping his shirt. “Oh, oh oh. Appa is sorry, my baby. Appa is sorry,” he whispered, hearing her sniffle. “Ssssh sh sh. Appa is here, Mina. No cries, appa won’t put you down.” He said, gently rubbing her back, before he slipped the oven mitt on. Carefully, he took the cookies out of the oven, setting them on the counter. Turning to smile at Mina, he kissed her forehead.”Does it smell yummy? Hm, baby bok? Should daddy and baby bok try a cookie?” He smiled, gently tickling her tummy. 

He obviously had to taste test his treats and who else would sample them than his baby bok? You were out grocery shopping.

Blowing on a cookie, he tore a small piece off, feeding it to Mina, the chocolate smearing around her lips. “Mmmmm? Is it tummy Mina? Do you think mumma will like them,too?” He smiled, as she blinked up at him. Taking a bite for himself, he smiled contentedly. “Yummy, yummy. Right, baby bok?” He smiled, pressing a chocolatey kiss to her lips. Giggling, Mina reached her hand up to rest it on Felix’s cheek. He could only smile, kissing the palm of her hand. How was his baby so cute? Tearing off another small piece of cookie, he fed it to her, more chocolate smearing around her lips. “Aigoo. Look at my baby! Such a messy girl, hm?” He giggled, using his thumb to wipe the chocolate and cookie crumbs. “My messy girl is so cute,hm?” He smiled, Mina resting her cheek on his shoulder again, signaling she just needed cuddles. If cuddles are what his baby bok needed, cuddles is what baby bok gets. Gently, he shifted Mina to fully lay on his chest, one of his arms under her bum and the other across her back. He loved these moments, he soaked up the cuddles. So, he gently rocked her in his arms, pressing kisses to the side of her head. “Should we have a cuddle hm? Wait for mumma to get home and have a cuddle?” he crooned down at her, as she let a small yawn out. Being a cute baby was tiring work, what can she say?

Laughing, he ate another cookie, walking to the living room, where he sat in the recliner. Gently sitting against the cushions, he adjusted  Mina in his hold. He laid her across his chest, supporting her neck with one arm and holding her lower half with the other. Smiling, he carefully placed a pacifier in her mouth and ran his knuckle along her chubby cheek. “Hi my precious girl. Is my baby bok tired? Ready for a nap?” He cooed, Mina gripping his shirt and sleepily blinking her eyes up at him. Feeling himself grow tired, he extended the legs of the recliner and laid back, releasing a yawn. “Sounds like daddy bok and baby bok need a nap, hm?” He smiled, leaning to, carefully, press a kiss to Mina’s forehead. She was already asleep, her hand gripping his shirt and cheek pressed against his chest. Yawning again, he felt his eyes drifting shut.

He and baby bok were out, napping their baking tiredness away.

It wasn’t long until you returned home, keys jingling as you unlocked the front door, bags of food in your hands. Stepping into the kitchen, you saw trays of cookies. “Oh, Lix must have baked,” you thought to yourself. But, where are they? Quietly you closed the door, looking around, until you spotted them. Cuddled up on the reclined, their eyes closed peacefully and their lips slightly puffed out. You  padded your way over to them, trying not to make a sound. Your eyes teared up, the sight too wholesome and you pressed a kiss to his forehead. 

 “Hi, sunshine. You okay?

Hearing your voice, he, blearily, blinked his eyes open, you smiling at him with love in your eyes. Smiling back, he yawned again. “Mmmmm. I’m okay, dove. Baby bok and I baked some cookies. Then, we decided we needed a nap.”

Man, you loved him and Mina…..who was still asleep on his chest
