Just A Heads Up. The Following Imagine Was Drawn In A Time Of Mental Distress. I Have Been Feeling A

Just a heads up. The following imagine was drawn in a time of mental… distress. I have been feeling a lot about myself and drew some vent art as a means to Chanel my emotions.
The reason I’ve put a warning is not that it’s NSFW there is no nudity perhaps gore. But more the emotions I felt while making it and looking at it.
I call it self reflection, and I hope it speaks for itself

i keep seeing AWFUL skintone ranges in art and picrews so here's some advice
skintone darkness is not a light to dark slider. the skin cloud is a good place to start:

notice how there are different undertones- yellow, pink, red, orange. and there's actually a good range of darkness. the skin cloud isn't perfect but it's a really good example!
i want to mention one specific example- there's not enough mixed race skintones represented in art. now obviously i can't speak for other races, but in my experience, i rarely see a good range of latino skintones (which sucks because i am a mixed race latino!!) not every latino person looks like this:

there are afro-latinos, white latinos, asian latinos, and so much more!! we are not represented by one single skin tone. there are different undertones, different darkness, etc.
and of course, this extends to other races. so please make sure you are representing as many people as possible. if you are not willing to put the effort in, help in other ways. people of color want to be represented.
here are some helpful charts i have found:

yes, i will admit, none of these are perfect resources. but they do help you see past that simple light to dark slider- there are so many unique skin tones!!
please, represent more people of color in your artwork.
white people may reblog, in fact i encourage reblogging, but do not add anything. do not clown in the notes. people of color are more than welcome to add on! <3 reblogging appreciated from anyone.

I made more….. I love them

Pandacakes

So this is Juan.
He is a monkey demon born on the flower fruit mountain some time during Sun Wukong’s imprisonment.
During his very early life he is kidnapped during one of the many attacks the monkeys of the mountain face from a band of hunters. Sold into slavery he is forced to serve the needs of his new owners.
One day he is freed during an attack but injured and left behind. He decides to forge his own place, working as a mercenary for hire among humans in disguise.
After much drama and heartache (I’m still working on this bit) he lives in the city still working for the highest price.
He comes upon Mk and the gang while working a job to obtain the staff, however he ditches the job after finding the group much more entertaining than the idea of the money.
So he frequents the noodle shop spending time chatting with Tang, eating Pigsy’s noodles and tell battle stories to Mk and Mei.
However he often ends up bickering with Mk because he denies all existence of Sun Wukong claiming them to be nothing but stories.
He wears modern clothing because he has lived with humans majority of his life, his weapon of choice is a set of butterfly swords.
Okay but like why is he so pretty?
