“How the hell do you do this ?”

“You’re not putting your fingers in the right way Levi !”

An angry expression on the face,his brows furrowed while he tried to understand, Levi fixed his hands. He could kill titans without even thinking about it,but it seems that he couldn’t do a heart with his hands. And it was pissing him off to not be able to do something that looked so easy.

“I’m doing the same thing as you ,i don’t understand why it isn’t working.”

His voice was annoyed,and all his attention was fixed on his fingers while he tried to move them in the right way. It was unusual to see him like this,sitting on the bed,his hair messy,his brain far from his work. And,it was also very funny to see how hard he was struggling,and how it was making him angry. He was definitely not going to give up,and he won’t sleep until he’ll succeed.

“Here,look” you said ,gently grabbing his right hand to show him how to do it.

Levi blinked once,his cheeks suddenly more red because of your contact,but he quickly focused again as you moved his fingers,and that his hand finally looked like the half of a heart. Without moving his fingers,he looked at his hand with confusion,wondering how you managed to make it look like that in a few seconds. It was probably one of the only thing Levi will never understand and wasn’t born to be good at.

As you looked at his confused face,you felt your heart melt.It felt like your body wasn’t enough to hold all the love you had for this man. You wished to be able to look at him,to be with him until the day of your death. He was all you needed,and all you’ll ever need.

Feeling your eyes on him,Levi turned his head to yours,his hand on his leg.For a second,his usual cold face was replaced by an expression of surprise,due to the look on your face. You were looking at him with so much love,your face was shining of happiness,and he was so surprised,so shook,because he wasn’t used to it. Even after all this time together,he wasn’t used to being loved,and still didn’t think it was possible.

« Why are you looking at me like that ? » he asked,his voice almost a whisper as he tilted his head,looking at you like some sort of unsolvable problem.

“I just...” lost in your admiration of him,you didn’t think before speaking,letting your thoughts come out of your mouth : “I’m wondering if it’s possible to love someone that much. I feel...I really feel like i could die because of it. Because of how much i love you. It’s just so,so ...powerful,and intense,and i’ve never felt something like that. And just looking at you makes me happy,and...”

You suddenly stopped,surprised by Levi’s sudden change of expression. His eyes were shocked,his mouth open ,forming an “O”,and he looked so surprised,almost like a child. Noticing that you were looking at him,he closed his mouth,coughed,and turned his face while his ears turned red.

“You really think what you’re saying y/n ?”

“Uh...Of course i am Levi ! Do you think i was lying ?”

“No. No.” he scratched his neck with his hand,suddenly embarrassed. Expressing how he felt was another thing he didn’t know how to do . “I just never thought it’ll be possible for someone to feel like that about me.”

Your eyes suddenly softening,you completed his half heart with your hand. You both looked at it,at your hands,at this heart.

“You know Levi,you’re worth loving.And you deserve to be loved.”

Pressing a kiss on his hand,you looked at him before saying : “ And i’m glad to be the one giving you this love.”

Your mouth went from his hand to his lips,and ,while kissing you back,he silently told you all the things he couldn’t bare himself to say out loud.And this single kiss was worth all the words in the world.
