I read that book, it’s one of my favorite Ten and Rose book, but I personally think that her connection should have been stronger.

I’m watching TOS Star Trek rn, and I gotta say-

He definitely made River Song extremely Mary-Sueish, which is one of the reasons she’s not really my favorite. She’s too perfect, and her entire storyline is exaggerated and sort of overdone. Rose actually had flaws, and how she became Bad Wolf was unique, and the fact that their was little to no after affects bugs me.

I’m talking about afterwards! What I mean to say is that after the Doctor took it out of her, it left little to no side affects afterwards, and I believe that she held it in much longer than the Doctor, and it killed him because he held it for almost a minute. The fact that it didn’t make her more strongly connected to the TARDIS or make her lifespan longer, or do something to alter her physically or mentally is, in my opinion, quite stupid. But everyone is entitled to their opinions, and the way I phrased it was kind of weird.

The DW fandom will disagree on everything. Ships, characters, everything. But there is one thing that everybody will agree on. Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright. Everyone will agree that they are soulmates, that they belong together, because they do. Everything else will have disagreements, and that’s understandable. But this couple will always be the one that should be together, that you can never find evidence against. Those two started the whole thing, and they did it together.
