there's nothing quite like sending an embarrassing picture of yourself (goofy expression) to a friend and their dad sees it...

Silence

another poem by me. (i wrote it like three days ago)

I sit here in silence, alone in every aspect

I will never be perfectly imperfect,

The Apple of someone's eye

And slowly, one by one, the days trickle by

Creeping, crawling, going ever so slow

And even now I can't help but miss you so

Aristotle said, "Man is by nature a social animal"

And just this once, our words seemed almost tangible

But of course, then you went radio silent

And I wonder if my feelings for you were misguided

I love people who can put their pride aside, apologize, and actually change their behaviour. That awareness, accountability, and emotional intelligence is soo attractive.
