Random Itachi HCs that give me life:

Coffee maniac - would rather chug down espressos on espressos than ever touch alcohol. However, recently he discovered that Matcha exists and he's become that aesthetic Matcha-loving dude. Still, when he wants to enjoy things, he would make himself a disgustingly sweetened frappe and sip it while thinking about 'things'.

He loves to think> but sometimes he gets exhausted because of the constant strain of thoughts enveloping his head so he discovers meditation. Itachi's mind is always a series of, "okay, now what?" ever since he was a kid because he wants his achievements to define him. (Typical achievement validation whore this dude is)

Probably has an inkling of rings and bracelets, which he wears when he's not wearing his Akatsuki robe. He hates it when his nails are not painted so, he sits and paints them every other day to make sure nothing's chipped TwT my cutie <3

He has engraved his Akatsuki ring like a locket that opens, and there is a tiny, tiny photograph of his family. Whenever there are sad Itachi hours, he just smiles and looks at them adoringly.

He remembers Sasuke's birthdays and has cut Sasuke's birthday cake like an old sap all by himself. Sasuke's dinosaur is the only thing that is sitting in front of him when he wishes his little brother a very happy birthday. Secretly wishes he could become stronger sooner so Itachi could at least, see him in person again.

Itachi knows he's beautiful, missions require traveling and sometimes due to Kisame's abnormal appearances; Itachi had to turn on his manipulative boy-charm switch to let them both stay in the inns late at night. Kisame hated it and has resolved to pay extra instead XDD whenever that happens.

Itachi cuts his own hair, I think sometimes he wishes to cut them as short as Shisui's hair and maybe has done so, his hair grew back in 2 years max because Uchiha genes= nice hair anyway. That was his own way of saying goodbye to Shisui.

Itachi and nightmares, several times he dreams of the Uchiha massacre not happening, and Fugaku understanding and letting things go. He wakes up and wipes that stray tear from his eyes more often than he wishes.

Itachi has touched himself out of the sheer curiosity of how it feels. I am pretty sure he was le virgin for a long time ;) while he did enjoy how it felt, the overbearing feelings of responsibility and looming things one after another don't let him indulge in self-pleasure.

Itachi has read icha-icha because he wanted to understand Jiraiya. Bad choice. Did he finish every volume though? Yes

Your arrival in the feudal era was greeted by Sesshomaru.

He was standing outside the well, probably waiting patiently for you, unsure of how much time he pass waiting for you.

You hoped he hadn't done so since you left three days ago, but now, as you watched him resting against the tree a bit away from the group, you began to think he did.

You felt bad thinking that Sesshomaru probably hadn't eaten or drunk anything while waiting for you outside the well.

You knew of his tendencies to follow you, mostly driven by concern for your well-being. You swore that if he could, he wouldn't hesitate to cross the well to follow you to the modern era.

You smiled with amusement imagining Sesshomaru trying to fight against the buildings. He probably would think they were demons with strange armors.

You stifled a laugh when another image appeared in your mind, thinking of Sesshomaru's reaction upon seeing a car.

The feeling of being watched didn't take long to arrive. You turned slowly, still with some amusement in your eyes.

Sesshomaru's golden eyes merged with the rich color of yours. One of his thin eyebrows raised with disguised curiosity, clearly asking you something like, "What do you find amusing?"

You simply smiled with feigned guilt as Sesshomaru closed his eyes again, apparently understanding that he would probably never understand a bit of what you were saying. What you didn't know was that Sesshomaru now felt a bit of compassion for his younger brother... surely Inuyasha also didn't understand sometimes the woman from your era who accompanied him.

You directed your gentle gaze to Rin, whom you were gently tucking in to sleep. The poor girl sometimes woke up because of the nightmares, but you hoped the chocolate milk you gave her before bed today would help her sleep.

With a small smile you turned to see Jaken who had fallen asleep, he still had in his hands the empty box of strawberry milk that you gave him and he grabbed it saying: “I'm going to take it but it offends me a lot.”

You shook your head as you took the box away to throw it in the trash. Even though Jaken shouted that he didn't like strawberry milk, you knew he had become addicted to that stuff.

Now that you think about it, Sesshomaru has never eaten or drunk anything from your time. You wondered if it would be a bad idea to give him something.

A smile rose to your lips as an idea appeared in your mind. You stood up from your spot heading to your bag, to tell the truth you have hungry too.

The gentle smell of instant soup that emanated from the cups when you poured hot water made a sigh of satisfaction escape your lips. You couldn't wait for them to be ready.

You patiently counted the minutes as you turned off the electric stove that ran on those cheap batteries you bought at the store near your house. You thanked the gods for bringing the stove; Kagome was right, the machine is a savior.

You tested the contents of the two soups to see if they were ready to eat. And a contented sigh escaped your lips when you saw that they were indeed ready.

You stood up with both soups in your two hands while trying to keep the chopsticks on top of the cup.

You prayed that the chopsticks wouldn't fall, and luckily for you Sesshomaru wasn't far away.

His eyes open without any hurry as you sit next to him. You feel a little bad; he was probably falling asleep when you arrived.

You saw the exact moment when his eyes shone with disguised curiosity when you placed the soup near him.

An exchange of glances was all you needed to know that he was waiting for an explanation.

"It's soup," you said.

Sesshomaru stared at you for a moment before speaking, "I, Lord Sesshomaru, don’t eat human food."

You hummed absentmindedly, not really paying attention; perhaps you were getting too used to that phrase.

"Well, it's delicious; it would be terrible if you didn't try it at least once in your life."

"And what will you do if I don't like it?"

You pretended to think, although you were actually enjoying your soup, "you can throw it at Jaken...", you replied without thinking.

Sesshomaru remained silent for a moment before taking the soup. You watched expectantly as he brought the chopsticks to his mouth, but really, can you blame yourself? You were curious to know if Sesshomaru would like instant soup.

You stayed watching his expression without knowing if his expression meant he liked it or not; he looked unreadable.

You closed your eyes for a moment, and when you opened them again, Sesshomaru was handing you the empty cup of soup.

"It was fine."

It was fine?

Is he congratulating you?

Did he like it?

A smile blossomed on your face when you saw a glint of satisfaction in Sesshomaru's eyes, but it disappeared as soon as it emerged.

He had indeed enjoyed the soup a lot; you took the cup feeling the gentle bubble of happiness in your chest.

Sesshomaru, clearly sensing your satisfaction, turned to look at you with an expression that you couldn't even classify as annoyance.

"Don't tell anyone about this."
