Patton and Roman were at Virgil memorial. The sides made it after Virgil…had the accident..

Patton was silent. Roman was too. They didn’t really know what to say. Roman softly and awkwardly smile. “Wow..I think it’s been forever since you’ve come here Patton..Heh..it’s kinda weird how you always avoided this place..but I can’t blame you haha”…Roman said while rubbing his neck.

Patton sighed. “Yeah..I suppose so..pretty selfish huh?..” Patton looked down, avoiding eye contact with roman.

Roman out down his hand “oh, no no! I can tell it would be hard for you to come here…it’s not an easy thing Patton…it’s understandable if you were uncomfortable coming here heh..”

An awkward silence filled the atmosphere.

The silence broke when Roman spoke up. “You know…when Virgil…left…Remus..surprisingly took it…really bad..”

Patton tensed a little when Roman said Remus’s name.

Roman continued. “He stopped doing…much of anything really…He stopped eating…drawing…annoying people…talking…leaving his room…and even speaking in his normal voice haha…” Roman went silent for a few seconds.

“I-I didn’t know about this off the bat…I don’t even notice until..Janus brought it up a while later…Saying he didn’t know what to do…After a…few months…I went to Remus’s room to talk to him..”

Patton tensed up even more, what would Remus say to Roman?

Roman continued. “On that night, I went into his room..And started pretending that I knew stuff…I hated how I worded it to this day..” he stayed silent for a few seconds.

“I tried to help..I thought I was helping at least..but Remus…Remus started getting…upset…I..never saw him get like that..it really..shocked me you know?”

Roman continued after a few seconds of silence. “For the first time…he started crying..or at least…it was the first time I had saw him cry…i..I didn’t know what to do…he started saying things…that I didn’t know he felt…but I couldn’t get a word in…the more he yelled…the more he cried his eyes out…”

Patton clenched his hands with a tight guilt.

“I could tell he wasn’t really angry…he was just..sad…and sort of..scared…when he finished…he apologized…I was still in shock but..I managed to calm down…and I hugged him..then I managed to get him to come out of his room again…he didn’t turn back to normal at all but…at least he was slightly better you know?..”

They both stood awkwardly.

Roman softly smiled “I think we should just be here for each other…and if they don’t wanna talk about it..we wait until they are and give them support..don’t you think so too?..”

Patton smiled too “yeah..yeah. That’s right..”
