PM thoughts

Today was mundane... I think that these uses to be my least favorite kind of days, the ones that felt like filler episodes. But, today i feel differently. I woke up around 9:30 and went to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water, where I found my mother and chatted for a bit before going back to sleep till 3:40 in the afternoon. Usually I am unable to sleep in this late without feeling the overwhelming sense of guilt for having wasted half the day staying in bed. But today instead of living life in my head I actually got up to do something, I woke up so late but was still able to get my laundry done. I hope you give yourself permission to rest this week, you deserve it!

Today was a long day, and a wonderful end to an even longer week. planning my sisters 18th birthday week has been a wonderful experience and raising her for the past 8 years has been a pleasure, she really is transforming into a beautiful woman in front of my eyes.

In other words I finally feel ready to move out without the guilty feeling that I'm leaving her behind. I can't live with my mom anymore and continue raising her child and tending to her home. tonight as I curl up in my bed with the cat at my feet, it feels like the last night I will serve anyone else's needs above my own.

I put my own needs above all else from here on out<3🤍🍃🎀

today I took the train uptown, since I was wearing my adventuring boots I figured why not. There wasn't much to do at the stop I got off at, but I did sit in the stations pastry shop. It kind of felt like a video game sitting there listening to the announcements and the rumble of the train that came every 15 minutes or so. It felt really good to get out the house and do something now that the weather is getting a bit warmer I even got my nails done and am so happy with how they came out!
