sypnosis : it's kunikida's birthday and you decide to treat him to some dinner after work. (can be viewed as romantic or platonic)

it's a normal day at the agency... except for the fact that it happens to he kunikida's birthday. kunikida wasn't the type to boast about his birthday like others, he kept personal stuff like that to himself. kunikida either mentioned his birthday to you before or you overheard him slip it out of his mouh when speaking to someone else. either way, you knew kunikida's birthday - it was today, the 30th of august.

you spot kunikida sitting at his desk, writing something in his notebook whilst muttering something to himself. you decide to walk up to him and clear your throat. "hello kunikida." you smile warmly at the man infront of you. he looks up at you and gives you a small smile back. "good morning, [name], what can i do for you?" he asks before closing his notebook.

"today's your birthday, right?" you ask him with an eyebrow raised. he's a bit taken aback by the question - he didn't think you knew his birthday or even remembered it if he mentioned it to you. "why yes.. it is my birthday today." kunikida rubs the back of his neck, a slight pink tint on his cheeks out of embarrassment. "well, i was wondering if you have any plans after work then?" you start, breathing in deeply. "i know you're always caught up with your ideals and your schedule, but, i was wondering if you were free? so we could.. go out to dinner! my treat, of course." you smile a bit wider, hoping kunikida didn't think your question was weird or out of the norm.

kunikida's eyes widen. did he hear correct or was he dreaming? "you want to.. go out for dinner with.. me, correct?" he asks, just to make sure you're not messing with him. you immediately nod at his question. "yeah, if you're not busy of course! i just want to treat you for your birthday.." you spoke nervously, fiddling with your hands that were out of kunikida's view.

kunikida pondered for a second. he opened up his notebook again and flipped through the pages to his schedule for today. "it seems to be your lucky day. i have no plans for this evening." he looks up from his notebook and at you with a small, soft smile. "great! we can go as soon as we finish work then, just as i planned!" you grin even wider, happy that kunikida accepted your invitation. "i'll be waiting for you till then!"

you start to make your way back to your own desk before turning around. "happy birthday, by the way!" you call out, finally making it to your desk. kunikida's face flushes as he hides himself in his hands. he really hopes nobody overhead your yelling, he didn't want the attention on him. unfortunately for kunikida, dazai overhead your yelling and started laughing. "ooh~ kunikida it's your birthday?" dazai asks, making his way to now tease and pester the blonde.

the day went by quickly and soon enough, your day at the agency has come to an end. you walk over to kunikida's desk and wait for him to finish. he spots you and smiles. "are you waiting for me now?" he chuckled, standing up from his chair and tucking it in. "we can go now, i'm ready." kunikida says, straightening out his outfit to look more presentable. "alright then, follow me." you hum, exiting the agency's office.

eventually, the two of you reach a nice, cosy restaurant. there aren't much people inside so a server seats you two quickly. you both sit down and scan the menu before ordering for yourselves.

"thank you, really, [name]." kunikida spoke softly with a smile on his face. "i'm glad you asked me out to dinner, i don't ever do much for my birthday but this year it's different because of you." he's genuinely estatic. his insides felt so warm because you decided to treat him for his birthday. "oh, it's no problem really!" you blush slightly, looking down at the table infront of you. "we can do this more often.. not just for your birthday, you know." you look back up at kunikida and smile. "of course." kunikida nods at you, pushing his glasses up.

"this has been the best birthday ever, [name]." kunikida whispered. "thank you again."

sypnosis: prompto has a massive crush on [name] and thinks he's doing well at hiding it. alas, [name] already knows about prompto's crush when he confesses. (meant to be viewed as romantic)

prompto had a massive crush on you. he thought he made sure it was a secret, but alas he didn't. he was so obvious about his feelings towards you. from the way he spoke to you, the way he looked at you and the way he tried subtly flirting. they all added up and made it so, so obvious that he was in love with you.

"hey dude." prompto smirked as he came over to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder. "hey." you greet back with a smile. it was like he was an open book - prompto's intentions were so obvious.

prompto hummed at you before speaking up again. "how's my favourite man doing?" he asked, holding onto you tighter. the blush on his face was prominent, you wanted to tell him how you knew what he was trying to do, but you wanted to see how he would confess too.

"i'm doing alright. better now that you're here though." you decide to flirt back. you loved prompto's reactions when he was flustered. he looked so adorable. you wanted to keep him in your pocket forever, so he could be safe from the harm of the world.

prompto's brain short circuits as he hears your reply. the poor man didn't expect to hear those words coming from you of all people! he just tries to act cool and brush off your compliment / pick-up line. "aha.. well that's good. i'm glad i could make you feel that way." he chuckles nervously, still blushing furiously at your comment.

you look at him and smile again before ruffling his hair. you are not helping the poor man and his crush on you at all. he feels as if he's going to melt into a pile of mush and be fed to chocobos. gosh, he's so in love with you.

prompto can't handle this anymore. he thinks all of your words and touches are on purpose. technically, they are. but he just doesn't know that you know that he likes you. he ends up pouting because of you ruffling his luxurious chocobo butt hair.

"what's with the long face, prompto?" you chuckle, nudging his side with a grin on your face. the blonde just huffs, looking away from you and dropping his arm back down to his side.

it's not fair.. it's so not fair. prompto thought to himself. you were making him feel all giddy inside and he seriously couldn't take it anymore. he just wanted to kiss you right there and then, but that would make his feelings obvious. as if they weren't already.

prompto continues to look away, not meeting your gaze as you speak up again. "seriously, what's wrong man?" you lean in closer to him, poking his sides. you hope that'll get a reaction out of him. however, the only reaction you get out of him is him being even more flustered.

"it's not fair!" prompto huffs out, crossing his arms over his chest as he pouted at you. "stop teasing me!" you look at him and chuckle still. "what?! i haven't done anything!" you tease, laughing at prompto's reactions. "why are you so worked up anyway?" you knew the reason why, but you wanted to egg prompto on and see if he'd actually confess to you.

"because i like you!" prompto exclaimed. he felt relieved to finally have admitted how he felt towards you after bottling it up for so long. "and you tease me like you know how i feel." the blonde is still pouting as he speaks. you think he's so adorable.

you pinch one of his cheeks and smile at him. "that's because i did know how you feel. you're not very secretive about your feelings, you know?" you move your hand from prompto's cheek before ruffling his hair again.

"aw man.. i thought i was doing a good job at hiding it!" prompto sighed before slumping into you, hoping that you'd catch him into a hug. which you did. without hurting him, you hugged him as tightly as you could. the pout from his lips was now replaced by a smile.

"i like you too, by the way." you hum before leaning in a little closer to his face. "glad we got that sorted out then." you smile before kissing him.

prompto is taken aback. his eyes widen in shock as he feels your lips touch his. but he doesn't mind, of course. he likes you too after all. he just never imagined that you liked him the same way that he liked you.

perhaps it was a good thing that he was so obvious about his feelings..

sypnosis: nanami leaves to go to shibuya leaving his boyfriend [name] at home. it's been a few hours since nanami has left, a few more hours than usual. [name] is worried and waits for nanami's safe retun home. he hopes nanami is alright. (meant to be viewed as romantic)

"i'll see you later, [name]." nanami said, kissing your lips one last time. "i love you." he smiled slightly, ruffling your hair. you beamed at him and gave him a hug. "i love you too. stay safe for me in shibuya okay?" you spoke softly.

and then, nanami was off to work. he mentioned he was going out to fight some curses with other jujutsu sorcerers in shibuya. you didn't know much about sorcerers as you couldn't see them yourself, but you listened deeply to whatever nanami told you about them. it was fascinating how his life was different to yours just because he could see some negative energy and you couldn't. but you loved him anyway, he was so strong and tough in your eyes. you fell in love with him again and again whenever he talked, or smiled or just simply existed.

you waited and waited and waited. there was no sign of nanami coming home yet. you thought of the worst, but you tried to ignore that. yes, working as a jujutsu sorcerer was tough, but nanami was tougher. he could face any obstacle thrown his way, you thought.

you called him a few times, but he never picked up. you remembered what he had said to you before about working in this sector. he said that sometimes people put up viels or curtains to make sure curses wouldn't escape and they'd be contained in one area. he also mentioned that because of these veils, the signal would most of the time stop working. so you tried not to worry. maybe his signal cutting off was the reason why he didn't call back.

and again, you waited. you were bored out of your mind and you couldn't sleep knowing that nanami was out there in shibuya and not in bed at home. you sighed and shook your head, trying to get your mind off of it. he was safe, you thought. he was going to come back home.

however, things for nanami were not looking up. he had been thrown in to a domain expansion with 2 other jujutsu sorcerers. he barely made it out alive. half of his body was burnt away. he wasn't going to make it out of shibuya at this rate.

nanami sighed. he couldn't stop thinking about you. all of the memories you made together; all of the stolen kisses, late nights together and dates the two of you shared. he loved all of them, he loved all of you.

nanami was still trying to stay strong, so he dragged himself along the train station. he wanted to stay strong for you, so he could live for you. but it was too late. he knew he was going to die here, either by his wounds or by some curses.

suddenly, the blonde was now surrounded by a swarm of curses. he sighed, again. "malaysia.. yeah, malaysia. kuantan would be nice." he mumbled to himself, trying to distract his mind. he was thinking of you and him now, getting married and moving in on a seculded beach. it made him happy, and it definitely soothed his mind, even if it was for a moment.

the curses were then all cut down in an instant by nanami's short sword. he didn't want anything to distract him in that moment, he only wanted to think of you and him, married, happy and living a life without curses.

but happiness doesn't last long when you're a jujutsu sorcerer. it gets cut short.

and of course, nanami encounters a curse. a familiar one at that. "i didn't know you were here..." nanami states, staring at the curse infront of him. it was mahito. oh how nanami knew his fate was going to end here. he sighed.

his mind wondered to you and his old friend haibara. nanami's mind started to drift away. he was tired, so tired. the blonde reached for his pocket, gripping the item in his pocket tight.

this was how it was going to end, and nanami knew he wasn't going to make it out alive anymore.

itadori then rushed to the scene, another familiar and fond face to nanami. "nanamin!" the boy yelled, not liking how the scene infront of him was playing out.

"itadori.." nanami breathed out, looking at the boy with a small smile. "you've got it from here." he chuckled and then mahito killed nanami. all that was left of nanami was his sword and a ring that fell out of his pocket. a ring that happened to be your size. a ring that happened to be the exact ring you described to nanami one day. it was an engagement ring..

you were still at home, waiting for nanami to come home. you didn't want to give up hope - you knew your boyfriend was strong. you decided to go to bed, laying in nanami's side for the night waiting for his safe return home.

soon enough, you drifted off to sleep, craving the warmth of your boyfriend. surely he was coming home.. right?
