wow I haven’t done this ever since my 2015 one LOL.

I think I’ve improved a little, especially in my colouring! happy new year everyone, I’m looking forward to our 2018 art summaries! (also I never uploaded the art I used for december, but it’s yuri lowell from tov)

2017 Art Summary! Basically: what is style LOL, but at least I managed to draw something per month!

But also, thank you very much for all those who supported me last year! I wish to create more dynamic and better art this year <3

I feel like I’ve drawn a lot but not enough last year. If I were to describe 2017 in one artwise word, it would be “eventful”. I’ve entered and done things I never thought I’d experience before (joining conventions, actually selling my artworks, joining zines and even moderating one), and I’ve met a lot of new and wonderful people in the community. It was good, great even! Since I finally feel like I’m going somewhere with my art.

But those experiences also made me feel somewhat incompetent. A lot of the times from last year, I wondered to myself why I wasn't improving, and asked what’s the point of all this— I still feel like this sometimes, but I think it's mainly because I’m still growing as an artist. 

To sum it up, last year was a challenge, and there were times when I wanted to give up, but it was thanks to those experiences that I managed to grow better as a person and as an artist.

Hoping to have a more fruitful 2018 ahead! And again, thank you so much for the support despite not being able to post often in this blog! ;;
