2021 Reading Challenge

January, Week 1

Hey guys, hope everyone's 2021 has kicked off to a good start.

What's the first book that you are reading in 2021?

Mountaineering in Scotland by W.H.Murray. A bit of a departure for me as I'm normally a fiction reader, but this has been great so far. Murray has a very descriptive and poetic style for a climber and some of the stuff they do is unbelievable. Written in the mid 1950s so the equipment they use is poor, making their feats even more impressive.

Unfortunately doesn't fit the discord challenge of fairytale, unless you consider that many modern day fairy stories originated in the Celtic British isles 😅

Do you have a reading goal this year?

Not in the sense of a specific numerical figure, I just want to read more! As. A med student I don't get too much time to read at uni and I'm hoping this challenge will help me find the time.
