What good is a sailboat in the raging ocean?

But why are the waves so violent?

There is light on the horizon

Yet the waters are clearly choppy and aggressive

Dark and full of emotion,

in frenzy

The sailboat sits

Off center

Unearthly in its stillness

Amongst the rivalsome waters

It is pure white

Untouched and unmoving

It doesn’t care about the state of the ocean

And, now that I think about it

There is no wind, either

The sails are still

The ocean is simply alive

And the boat is not floating

It is suspended, hardly in contact with the surface

It does not belong to the ocean

And the waters are my rage
