agatha doesn't really look it too much, but she's actually pretty strong! between the age of 16 and 17, she got her first job in a department store and helped stock the shelves, which involved a good deal of heavy lifting. between 17 and 18, she found a different job in a flower shop. she did a good deal of heavy lifting there, too. pots for the plants, bags of soil, etc. after turning 21, she finally moved away and found work in another flower shop and worked there for three years? yeah, something like that. she didn't work for about a year around the age of 24, so she lost some of that strength. after moving to norway with her wife and daughter and getting her own shop again, she was able to rebuild that strength.
so, excluding that one year (and probably a handful of months) she was out of work, she's done heavy lifting for like, 9 years. strong gal.

princess agatha considers the castle library and gardens to be her safe haven, especially from her cousins (on her dad's side) who tend to be nothing but bullies to her whenever they visit, which is fairly often. she feels more comfortable, more safe, more at home there than in any other part of the castle (aside from her own bedroom).
she is even more introverted in this au because she has a lot more weight on her shoulders. she doesn't speak if she doesn't have to, she doesn't interact with others if she doesn't have to. the only other people she'll speak to, even when not directly spoken to by them, are the staff in the castle. she appreciates all they do and thanks them for things they do for her and she talks to them when she gets a chance.
while, yes, she doesn't typically have many duties, agatha would truly rather not be royalty. it isn't from the perspective of like, a spoiled rich girl or anything, because her kingdom is certainly rich, she just feels she isn't cut out to be princess or, later, queen. it feels like it's too much responsibility and one wrong move will destroy everything. if she could, if it had no repercussions, she'd run away from it all.
agatha absolutely dreads arranged marriages. she's a romantic through and through and prefers to get to know someone a good deal before marrying them. she understands they're often just a part of being royalty (because it was the same for her parents), but it doesn't mean she has to like it. that isn't to say she'll be difficult toward her betrothed, whoever it may be. agatha will do her utmost best to get along with them and make them happy.
she balks at the prospect of producing an heir. she's really good with kids but pregnancy itself is pretty terrifying. that, and with the added pressure of needing an heir makes her even more hesitant. agatha also fears she wouldn't be a very good mother even though she'd try her absolute best to be one for her child/children if she were to have any. it also doesn't really help that it's difficult for fae to bear children. it's much more likely for them to be born the way she was, from a flower (a peony, specifically), but that still means both she and her partner have to wish for a child and want one strongly enough to essentially be given one, and agatha would be wary in doing so.
