She had a huge crush on Android 17, but she didn’t realize she also had a huge crush on Android 18. She always had a funny feeling about the Sailors Neptune and Uranus, but couldn’t quite place it (They were “cousins” in the English dub). This hidden weebness is ultimately how Allison and Neil learn to interact in a non-passive aggressive way.

When you Google "final most powerful form" you will receive articles and images almost entirely of Suoer Saiyan forms, Frieza's transformations, along with a smattering of references to Bleach, Naruto, and other Japanese IPs.

It would *intellectually dishonest* to come to any other conclusion than that Allison, as a red-blooded American of 35 years of age, was not a book-reader as a teenager but a Toonami-watcher.

continuing to repost my old takes for the new audience: Allison is a Laura Palmer expy (pretty blondish white woman, seemingly beloved and living an idyllic life, but actually in deep shit with major character flaws, ala Jackie Taylor, Rachel Amber, Lilly Kane) but instead of being a doomed by the narrative ghost, she is the central pov and has autonomy.

Allison McRoberts and Alicia Florrick are both women who are accused of having a "victim complex" in universe and out and while both are technically true assessments (and explored in the writing), neither are caused by an echo-chamber of support, but because their entire worlds' seem to gaslight them into believing they aren't victims.

Frankly I'm a little sus about how quickly people want to jump from acknowledging victimhood to "okay that's enough being a victim for you now you're just showing off"
