A/N : Got inspired by the latest controversy around Seungcheol’s military service. Let the poor guy live! He is trying his best to hide the pain from his fans! The least we can do is be understanding !

Y/N sighed, letting the nurse do her thing. It had become a routine for her over the last 3 weeks, she would come, initiate a little chat and then leave to attend to other patients. Getting into a car accident had not been in her bucket list, and on top getting rammed by a drunk driver on New Year's Eve. Somehow she only managed to came out with a broken femur and tibia, which technically means a whole broken left leg, which now led to her being on bed rest for the past 3 weeks. 

With the boredom being too much to handle, she was scrolling away time on Netflix, looking for a new series to watch when the doctor, Dr. Satur, entered probably for the daily questioning of does her leg hurt which undeniably did. 

"Hey Champ, no asking questions about your pain today."

She chuckled, "Don't tell me you are here to chit-chat with me then."

"Just here as a deliveryman. You will be starting physical rehabilitation from the evening. You need to put those legs in use."

"Sure doc, the right leg does feel left out, need to break it as well."

"Well, I don't know if I should be happy that I will be earning more or concerned that you are having such thoughts and need to be put with a psychiatrist ."

"The ethics is thrown away for the money Mr. Satur?"

The doctor just patted the quilt and walked out, knowing talking her would lead to him just digging his own grave. 

The past three weeks had been filled with misery ,yet the idea of leaving the confines of her room scared her in some way. She had  grown accustomed to speaking very little, finding comfort in solitude.

When next morning she was wheelchaired to the rehabilitation room, she was excited and to much of her surprise, there were many securities. "Dr. Satur, am I that special that you had to bring so many bodyguards?"

The doctor gave a light chuckle and responded,"There is some celeb taking rehab for a knee injury."

Y/N jerked her head around to face the doctor and asked, "Please tell me it's Song Kang, my pookie bear, the husband of my kids ."

"Your pookie bear is not here, and why do you want him to get injured?"

"He is a demon, he will heal pretty soon." Y/N tried to reply while sounding serious but ultimately failed in doing so, making the doctor laugh along as well.

"We are here, please behave Y/N." The doctor said while handing over the wheelchair handles to the nurse.

"I always do." She replied while being rolled away to her rehab station. The nurse stopped at the waiting room and told Y/N that she would have to wait for sometime while she gets her plan sorted. 'Waiting should be my middle name by now.' She thought as the nurse went away to the administration room.

"First time?" Y/N turned around to see a guy sitting on the wheelchair, with his leg propped up. He had shaggy black hair in a mullet with doe like eyes which definitely made him attractive.

"Yeah, your too ?"

The guy shook his head, and simply put up 4 fingers. "Busted my ACL pretty good."

"Bike accident ?"

"No, well practising."

"Well I busted my leg too, car accident , typical drunk driver."

"I am sorry to hear that ."

"Don't be Mr.?"

"Seungcheol."

"Y/N".

"Seungcheol were you preparing for the civil war? Busting up your ACL while practising is new ."

"I could be an athlete, you know?"

Y/N pointed at his body, "By the looks of you, you don't have that athlete figure."

Seungcheol scoffed, "I am offended Miss Y/N."

"Truth hurts my dear friend ."

"We are friends now ?"

"Yes my dear Seugcheol, so now tell me the real reason, wait- DID YOU TEAR YOUR ACL TO ESCAPE MILIATRY !? OH MY GAWD" 

Seugcheol couldn't believe what the girl in front of him said and burst out laughing. "You really think I went to such extreme just to escape 18 months of training ?"

"Well duh."

He just smiled and replied," You are wrong my dear friend ."

"Are you some mafia boss? Got shot in the knee ?"

"You are one of those booktok girls?"

Y/N was genuinely shocked by a guy knowing what's booktok. 

"You know booktok?"

"My ex was obsessed with those smutty books, got her a book bouquet for her birthday, broke up with me the next day."

Seungcheol saw Y/N's curious eyes and before she decided to ask any further questions, 

"She cheated."

Y/N stared at the guy in front of her, jaw wide open, "ON YOU !? A GORGEOUS, HANDSOME, TALENTED GUY LIKE YOU !?"

"Thanks for the compliments but yes, she did."

"She was so dumb-"

Before she could complete her ongoing compliment shower, one of the bodyguards entered the room and presumably called the guy sitting next to her 

"Mr. Choi, the doctors are here."

He nodded and turned to the girl beside him,

"It was nice meeting you Y/N."

"Wait, are you some celeb or something?"

The guy just smirked and the bodyguard  proceeded to wheel him out. But before exiting the room, he replied,

"I don't know, Google it ."

Y/N was again left all alone, with one task in her mind,
