I wrote a bit of Magama smut because I needed it.

Magnifico's jealousy ruins a party that Amaya has spent months planning. They fight about it, and then they make up.

I have a few Magama fics in my head that I need to write, but I’m also always looking for suggestions.

What do you think of the villain couple concept?

Ok, so here’s the thing with this one - I spent years shipping the Black Fairy from Once Upon A Time with the Darkling from Shadow & Bone. I love a good villain couple and before the movie, I would have loved it. 

But then we got the couple we got and I LOVE them. I love everything about them. I just regret that they didn’t get enough screen time together, and I regret that they took away the affection. Disney truly thought that no one would ship this older couple, and they were wrong. They released a deleted scene, and it was so full of affection and all I could think was.. THAT is what’s missing. Not Amaya being a villain. Their relationship got no time at all.

After that, I could take or leave the ‘villain couple’. It was a nice idea but I preferred what we got. It’s like the idea of Evil Elsa. Ok as a concept but I could take or leave the idea.

Until I saw numerous comments of “we were robbed”, often from people who hadn’t even seen the movie, plus every rewrite I’ve seen seems to have the concept. Now I find myself hating the concept, to be honest. I have no interest in the villain couple any more, especially because I love and adore the Queen Amaya that we did get. I don’t think that I will ever write Amaya as being “always evil”, it’s just not who she is to me.

TLDR: Write/Read what makes you happy but villain couple will never be for me.

Carriage Ride

After an eventful ball in the home of the Spanish King, Magnifico helps Amaya relax.

I wrote this for oomf’s. It’s a Magama fic based on "the Carriage Scene" from Bridgerton, S03E04.

I wanted to see them riding together to someone did it for me.

Re-reading Pressure, and this first paragraph is just me simping over Amaya and pretending it’s Asha 😂😂😂

So short story time because I feel like this needs to be shared.

Recently, I’ve been going through a lot - therapy has opened a whole unresolved thing about my relationship with my dad, and work has gotten really intense. I used to deal with stress and pressure by writing, but all of this together has led to a huge mental block creatively.

I didn’t think it really mattered. Of the few people who leave me comments on my work, one of them has got her own stuff going on, and another is so understanding about life that I reckon I could stop writing for a year and she’d still be supportive.

I didn’t think that anyone outside my small circle cared about my writing honestly. They don’t get many hits, the Amaya/Magnifico ship doesn’t seem popular unless you’re writing villain couple. No one seems to care about Wish in the canon form we got it. So I thought I could relax, and just write for me, in my own time. I don’t write for other people, I write for me, but like a popular post on here says, just because you’re screaming into the void doesn’t mean that you don’t want a reply.

I’ll admit that the lack of comments from one of my favourite commenters probably does kill my writing muse a bit. It likes positive feedback and it doesn’t get any from me.

Anyway, to the story. I recently logged into AO3 to this, and while the want for my stories is nice, my muse probably would have been boosted had you left actual comments about the story, and not just demand for more.

Anyway; I guess what I’m saying is, if you like a fic, please give it a comment. It doesn’t even have to be long. A short “I loved this” is usually enough (for me anyway). It’s just nice to know that people are actually reading.

Been avoiding being here a bit. My muses are being incredibly hit by work stress.

I need something to get the creative juices flowing so feel free to send me stuff. Idk, writing prompts for short Magama fics. Headcanon questions. Anything.

idk if you wrote about this already but. headcanons on amaya’s family?

I always thought Amaya must have some nobility in her, but I never wanted her to be “above” Magnifico in terms of “class” or whatever, because I didn’t feel that they had those vibes.

I’ve always had a headcanon that Amaya’s mother was a noble woman who left the life of nobility to marry her father who was a travelling salesman. Her mother taught her everything that she had been taught herself, before she died when Amaya was 11.

Her mother had two older brothers, both of whom died childless and Amaya eventually inherited her grandparents estate a few years after she and Magnifico founded Rosas, which she sold most of to buy things for their growing city and fill the Kingdom’s treasury as it were.

Her father on the other hand was a skilled salesman who travelled around Spain, teaching Amaya how to sell anything to anyone. These skills would come in handy years later when she began negotiating trade agreements for Rosas alongside her husband. Her father doted on her, but when his wife died, he began drinking and his drunk ass became abusive towards my sweet little Queen.

She didn’t really have any extended family. No cousins, no siblings, no where she could run to, so she stuck by her father, until she met the wish granting love of her life in a bookshop when she was 18.

I wrote a “first time experiencing oral sex” fic about Amaya and Magnifico and it’s awkward and clumsy and I kinda love it.

Can you write a re-write of the movie? I’d love to see your take on it.

I don’t think so honestly. The fandom is oversaturated with them. I am going to write the movie from Amaya’s point of view though.

If I had decided to write a rewrite, though, it wouldn’t have been based on the concept. I’d not have had the book in Magnifico’s possession at all. He’d be as he was (with more Magama time), but he wouldn’t be the true villain.

In my version, Sabino would be given his Wish back, and with his wish would come his memories and his previous motivations and quest for power. (I love a twist villain, I don’t even care).

His wish to inspire people would really be a wish to inspire them to follow him, to give him the power that he so craves (or I’d have given him a different Wish).

He’d have a backstory where he was searching through the castle in Rosas for the Forbidden Magic book when a young Magnifico landed on Rosas with Amaya and a few dozen followers. He’d hide the book somewhere in Rosas, and then he’d join the newly arrived crowd. He’d build his home on top of the book so that no one might discover it by accident, and then he’d give his wish to Magnifico in order to blend in, taking away all memory of it.

With his memories back, he would uncover the book and use it, wanting control of Rosas and those wishes that Magnifico had protected for years. Maybe he’d make himself young again, (evil Starboy at this point I guess). Asha and Magnifico would need to team up, with Star in order to defeat him. During whatever final battle, Sabino would reveal that he was one of the ‘greedy thieves’ who burned down Magnifico’s home.

At one point, Magnifico would find himself injured or cursed, trying to save the wishes of his people, and has to be healed/saved by Amaya’s True Love’s Kiss.

I finally posted an update to this. I’m so slow, I’m sorry. Anyway, writing this piece for @ihrtmichael because I love her and she loves Esmeralda and I wanted our girls to meet.

In the latest chapter, they finally do.

I’ve read so much of your stuff and I love it. You’re my favorite writer in the Wish verse. It’s so refreshing to see someone build a world in the canon universe and not in AUs or “concept rewrites”

How are you? I hope fine!

Here a draw of this two because I loved them so much. The Dilf x Milf couple is always a guarantee and the fact that they (SPOILER) don't have a happy ending devastates me.

Ready to give my unpopoular opinion about this film: I liked it. True, it does not measure up to many classics and certainly the initial idea of how it was to be made was much better and contained more new elements, but still this film is a noble attempt to create a Disney classic. It has all the elements and even the animation style tries to recall 2D.

The characters are nice and I find the one most in-depth is Magnificent since we see his slow decline due to the forbidden magic and can thus observe more parts of his character. He reminded me of Scar in some ways, perhaps because of his eccentric personality, but I think he is a very good villain.

I also liked the songs, although some more than others, and the plot was nothing special, but not to be thrown away.

And then the fact that actually 100 years after the creation of this great Disney empire they decided to celebrate it with a story about dreams and wishes, a subject that is almost always present in every film by the publisher, made my heart clench.

I imagine that this film will be a flop because of the bad publicity and criticism, but I hope this will conclude an era of Disney, leading it to move forward and improve even more.

Just because I couldn't finish the fanfict about Amaya and Magnifico that I was writing today, I'm posting this somewhat ugly sketch about an idea I had with baby Magnifico ihih

(I will protect that baby with swords and knives if I have to).

So yes LET'S BURST THE FANDOM.
