In fact listen to them thats how you get better
but if its a personnal project just dont ask feedback if it make you feel yukky afterwords
I didnt follow what the professor told me because it was not what I wanted
It looked better but it was not what I was aiming for
Anyway dont take everything at face value
keep personnal project to you and the people you trust around
