reblogs polls castlevania games castlevania akumajou dracula kinda weird not seeing SotN on here also weird unpopular opinion I guess I am always baffled when Aria of Sorrow gets the most votes like it was a good game by all means but I don’t like how most of the characters have practically no screen time Julius has a whole character arc off screen within like two conversations and it’s just :| I found myself getting more attached to Hammer than the other main characters cause at least you get to talk to him more often 💀💀💀 I also found AoS’s music forgettable again good but like I cannot remember a single original song from that game after playing it and I will never get over the fact that Julius just got a remix of an older song instead of a theme of his own like come on if Soleil can have three you can make one new song for the literal end of the bloodline I also genuinely really don’t like the chaos zone and the final boss Graham was a complete waste of a character and they could’ve made him cool had they given anyone more than 2 interactions at best and idk the design for chaos is just really lame. it’s three guys on a wheel. ok. we could’ve had a Curse of Man battle here but no I guess curse of man as in the demon dragon and the embodiment of chaos already established as such since the first game the power of friendship ending also just did not hit because again Soma didn’t really get to meet anyone in 2 interactions 💀💀💀💀💀 idk Aria is ok but it’s not my favorite and I really don’t think it’s the objective best it really should’ve been put on not a handheld and written a bit longer especially since it’s supposed to be the ‘end’ of the series ya know I do wanna make it very clear tho that I do like the game tho Soma is really cool and fun to play as then again idk maybe I just have awful taste cause I like Harmony of Dissonance and The Adventure so lmao but tbh I think SotN is probably the objective best and also my favorite story and gameplay wise followed closely by HoD and PoR tbh
