onions for sure funny story when i was a kid i used to love raw onions so much and there was almost always a plate of onion slices when anyone was eating dinner bc indians and i used to sneak them off my grandfather’s table when he was eating and then one day i choked on them badly like almost died badly and since then i hated onions like loathed them but i would’ve been younger than 5-6 here so i forgot why and until i was like 13 i had no idea why i hated onions i just assumed i hated the taste and avoided them like the plague so i didn’t know what they tasted like and that they didn’t actually taste bad and then my mom told me this story and i tried then again and it was like exposure therapy where i slowly started trying them bit by bit and now i just like raw onions a normal amount not a normal amount for a white person tho i love vinegar onions tho that shit slaps the hardest basically picked onions but nobody here calls them that
