I would also like to add that no one should be ashamed of their race. While most people will be freaked out by statements like that, there will also be a number of those who seriously internalize that rhetoric. That can be so so damaging to people mentally.
How many LGBT people have serious issues as adults because their whole lives they were told that what they are is fundamentally wrong, vile, even evil? The same thing applies here. That’s such a deep hurt that I would never wish on anyone and to hear it parroted here in a different coat is horrifying.
The race you were born as is so far out of your control. You can’t choose it, it just is. Don’t feel shame for the way you were born. Don’t feel shame for the color of your skin. That goes for all races.
Absolutely unhinged timeline. Megacorporations are paying woke spokespeople to go on freakish inverse-Mein-Kampf racialist screeds, which are then quoted by right-wing news outlets, thereby validating everything their viewers have ever heard about how the left hates white people. Shit like this might be fashionable and ideologically correct among activist circles, but it absolutely freaks the shit out of normal people, even people who might be sympathetic to Black Lives Matter or efforts against police brutality, because it looks and sounds like something from a hate group.
It’s actually extremely bad to intentionally try to make white people embrace and internalize a white racial identity rooted in self-flagellation and self-hatred, since it’s just going to make tons of people run in the opposite direction and embrace a white racial identity rooted in chauvinism and hatred of others

Since Bruce's kids all love to play around and hide in his cape as Robins, I wonder if he makes them blankets out of the same materials as his cape so they can have a piece of security when Bruce isn't there?
I remember in Dick and Jason's older comics (correct me if I'm wrong), they used to stay up late waiting for Bruce when he'd go out as Batman alone, so I'm gonna take this as confirmation that all his kids have done this at some point.
So now I'm totally gonna hc that in order to encourage his kids to not stay up late for him or as a way to help them feel more safe and secure when he's not there, he makes them all blanket replicas of his cape for them to snuggle with :')
And also just imagine his kids all grown up, and they STILL have the blankets with them, regardless of if they've moved out.
Just actually bought and read my own comics for the first time (I've read a couple online but first time with physical copies, and it hits diffraction) and I. Am. Mentally. Ill.
