I find it funny that Ford ONLY asked Dipper. Couldn't he have kept both of the twins in gravity falls? Like I know Dipper's his favorite but there is a high school there and he said he could homeschool Dipper, why not Mabel?

Especially considering how bad it was when he left his twin, wouldn't he of all people realize it's not the best idea

And Dipper said "what about Mabel" he could've just said "bring her too!" yk? And for the plotline of her getting ditched, that could've just been her interrupting him before he could explain fully.
