sometimes i remember there are people, including the writers, who act like damon should forgive stefan for making him turn into a vampire when damon was aware of katherine’s true identity, her “relationship” with stefan and was ready to become a vampire so he can spend an eternity with her. he allowed katherine to abuse his brother because of his obsession with her. stefan was unaware of the vampire blood in his system and the only reason he was outside on the night they got shot was because of damon. and y’all are trying to convince me i should blame stefan for making damon turn into a vampire when literally every step that led to that moment was damon’s fault? you’re trying to convince me i should blame stefan for not protecting damon when damon failed to protect his 17 year old brother from getting raped and abused by a woman who lived under their roof? and who after all of that left his brother when he needed him the most because now he has to live an eternity without a woman he had known for a month? and who decided to devote making that eternity miserable for him? who 150 years forward said he can’t really say he feels sorry for him after his break up with elena? who was unable to, once again, protect his little brother from getting hurt because of a woman who has come between them? y’all are crazy.
