Petty Couple Argument Prompts

“Oh, so you heard me when I said your show is on but not when I asked where you put my shirt?”

“You didn’t do the dishes…again.”

“I’m not being ridiculous, you are!”

“Not this again…”

“You’re delusional, your shoes are right here!”

“I swear on my life I didn’t eat your cake.”

“Remember when I accused you of stealing my really nice pen? I…just found it in my bag. Sorry.”

“Tell me why I found my socks in your drawer? You know those are my favorite socks!”

“I asked if you had to use the bathroom before I got in the shower!”

“You ordered take out without me?”

“I made you your own dinner, why are you eating mine?”

“I swear, if you take another one of my shirts, I will have no clothes.”

“Are you sure you wouldn’t send an assassin to kill me? You didn’t sound like you were genuine when you said no the first time.”

“If you leave another CD out of its case, you’re sleeping on the couch for the rest of time.”

“I might have watched an episode of our show without you.”

“What do you mean you don’t like this song anymore? I thought it was our song!”

“You know I love you, but it’s your turn to take the garbage out, and no, I’m not negotiating.”

“You don’t really think I’m getting annoying, do you?”

“I was just joking around! Don’t take everything so seriously.”

“How could you forget how our handshake goes?”

“You forgot to give me a kiss before you left. Do that again and I will dump you for your sibling.”

“I can’t believe this! My show recording is gone!”

“You always make that face when you’ve done something wrong, so what did you do?”

“The last time I let you do my makeup, you managed to stain my face purple for a week!”

do you have like, ones where A and B are a couple and they have an argument but B takes it too far and then feels bad about it after so they try apologising

i need it-

yes >:)

some argument scenarios

written

All of their anger disappears when they see the tears spring into A’s eyes: their tone changes, their face softens, and they pull A into a hug whispering soft apologies for letting it get that far.

B doesn’t realize they’ve hurt A until they see them napping and find their swollen cheeks and tear tracks still evident. Their heartbreaks instantly at the sight and they decide to get/make A’s favorite snack and prepare to have a more down-to-earth talk about the problem at hand.

A pretends that B’s last comment didn’t hurt, but B can tell from both what they’ve said and A’s pride, that they’ve messed up. Although A is still being cold towards them, they give their partner space but decide to pull them aside later and apologize sincerely.

B really screws up and snaps at A in front of others (family, friends, etc.). A, feeling humiliated, walks out of the room and B catches them trying to hold back tears. They first apologize to those around them for the scene and then find A, who’s crying their eyes out in a more private area. B tries to calm them down and express how sorry they are, but A just doesn’t want to hear it.

dialogue

“i shouldn’t have said it...i know.” “then why did you?”

“let me fix this...”

“babe, please don’t cry, i’m so sorry...”

“no, because this isn’t the first time you’ve done this, B.”
