The female goat herders of Hadhramaut, Yemen
Goat herding is traditionally done by females in Eastern Yemen. The women cover all their skin from the heat and sun, protecting themselves from dehydration and skin damage, the socks and gloves keep their hands and feet soft despite the unforgiving desert sun. The hat (made from dried palm leaves) besides being a drip by itself serves an important role, it insulates air on top of their head thus keeping it cool, besides providing the obvious shade. The layered clothing also helps with the desert changing mood, where it can shift from hot days to cold nights.

One of the few music videos I could watch over and over again. Now that I know about the choreography, I like it even more.

Michel Gondry's music video for the song features five groups of characters on a platform representing a vinyl record: four robots walking around in a circle; four tall athletes (as described by Gondry)[4] wearing tracksuits with small prosthetic heads walking up and down stairs; four women dressed like synchronized swimmers (described by Gondry as "disco girls")[4] moving up and down another set of stairs; four skeletons dancing in the center of the platform; and four mummies dancing in time with the song's drum pattern.
This is meant to be a visual representation of the song; each group of characters represents a different instrument. According to Gondry's notes,[4] the robots represent the singing voice; the physicality and small-minded rapidity of the athletes symbolizes the ascending/descending bass guitar; the femininity of the disco girls represents the high-pitched keyboard; the "itchy" skeletons dance to the guitar line; and the mummies represent the drum machine.

5 Catacombs of Paris, France
The Catacombs of Paris (in French Les Catacombes ) is one of the most famous cemeteries in Paris, France. It consists of a network of underground tunnels and rooms located in what, during the Roman era, were limestone mines. The mines were converted into a common cemetery in the late eighteenth century. And the bones are arranged in a "wall", a decision taken by the General Inspector of Quarries at that time, where you can find plates identifying the origin of the bones and even small altars containing epitaphs in Latin.
4 Socotra island (Yemen)
Imagine waking up on the Socotra Island and taking a good look around you (let's say your buddies pulled a prank on you and delivered you there, and lets also assume that you don't have any hangover from abuse of any substances). After a yelp of disbelief, you'd be inclined to think you were transported to another planet - or traveled to another era of Earth's history.
The second would be closer to the truth for this island, which is part of a group of 4 islands, has been geographically isolated from mainland Africa for the last 6 or 7 million years. Like the Galapagos Islands, this island is teeming with 700 extremely rare species of flora and fauna, a full 1/3 of which are endemic, i.e. found nowhere else on Earth.
3 Zone of Silence, Mexico
This area is located on the border of the states of Coahuila, Durango and Chihuahua. Was reported for the first time in the 1930's by Francisco Sarabia, Mexican pilot. He claimed that his radio had mysteriously failed while flying over the area. Since then, many people who have visited the region have reported that radio signals fade and stop compasses point to magnetic north.
2 Fly Geyser
The Fly Geyser, near Gerlach, Nevada, is strange because it somehow grows up. It is three meters high at the moment. It is interesting that this geyser is located on private area, so nobody can enjoy it from close. The owner is Bill Spoo, a man who rejects the opportunity to make a fortune from the tourists, and keeps the beautiful view just for himself and the few researchers and photographers who have to schedule a visit weeks before arriving.
1 Lakes of Mount Kelimutu (Indonesia)
Mount Kelimutu is an active volcano. Inside the huge crater complex are three lakes filled with water of different colors, respectively burgundy red, pale green and dark blue. The mountain is located at the back of Mount Kelibara, in the Wolowaru district, in the Ende regency of central Flores. Keli means mountain and Mutu means boiling. In short, it means volcano.
To the local people, this mountain is holy, and a token of God’s blessings. It provides fertility to the surrounding lands.
