Honestly are the Starks the only formally royal family that doesn’t try to kill each other? I mean Jon Arryn got killed by his wife, who got killed by her husband, who’s more or less trying to kill her son.
Tyrion killed Tywin. And Cercei killed Lancel and Kevan and is responsible for Tommens death.
Stannis killed Renly and tried to kill Roberts basterds. And well burned Shireen alive and all.
And well the sand snakes are a mess in the show anyways, but killing Doran and Trystan. Really? And well there were several Greyjoy kings and the Greyjoys are really trying to kill each other. I mean Euron killed Harlon, Robin and Balon, fucked Victorians wife. Victorian wants to kill Euron for that. Balon is responsible for Rodrik and Marons deaths. Asha and Theon want to kill Euron. And Aeron just deserves a breat, after getting abused by Euron. Again.

Queen Sharra of the Vale, regent for her son Ronnel, took refuge in the Eyrie, looked to her defenses, and sent an army to the Bloody Gate, gateway to the Vale of Arryn. In her youth Queen Sharra had been lauded as “the Flower of the Mountain,” the fairest maid in all the Seven Kingdoms. Perhaps hoping to sway Aegon with her beauty, she sent him a portrait of herself and offered herself to him in marriage, provided he named her son Ronnel as his heir. Though the portrait did finally reach him, it is not known whether Aegon Targaryen ever replied to her proposal; he had two queens already, and Sharra Arryn was by then a faded flower, ten years his elder.

The boy-king Ronnel Arryn and his mother Sharra Arryn, his Queen Regent, had ruled over the Kingdom of the Vale during the War of Conquest. Sharra was considered one of the most beautiful women of Westeros. When Aegon sought to conquer the Seven Kingdoms, she offered him her hand in marriage if he would declare Ronnel his heir. He refused, and in the battles that came after, Sharra stood firm. The Arryn fleet won against Targaryen ships at the Battle of Gulltown. In retaliation, Aegon sent his sister-wife Visenya. Riding Vhagar, her dragon, Visenya burned the Arryn fleet at anchor. Sharra refused to bend the knee. She amassed the strength of the Vale at the Bloody Gate, expecting an onslaught from the Targaryens. However, defeat was not in blood but in coercion: through the boy-king himself. With the army diverted from the Eyrie, Visenya flew Vhagar into the very heart of the stronghold. Sharra returned to her son sitting on Visenya’s lap, enchanted by the sight of Vhagar in the courtyard. Sharra bent the knee, and the Eyrie fell without a fight.
