Mother Nature is beautiful even on a dreary January day.

It was cold and drizzly but after hours of sitting at the computer I had to get outdoors. I yomped up a hill to get warm and at the top, with heaving lungs and hammering heart, saw a puddle with exquisite reflections.

A shallow puddle filled with the most beautiful, organic patterns of reflected trees and swirls of water moving over and around pebbles. I love these muted colours too. There is beauty in winter and it makes my heart sing!
