“Dark chocolate-covered espresso beans are a perfectly healthy meal!” As if on cue she shoves a handful of them into her mouth, chewing quickly and keeping eye contact.

       “I wouldn’t say they’re healthy or make a good meal but-” Asa leaned forward, holding her hand out for some of Mine’s dark chocolate-covered espresso beans.

“They add a little pep to your step~!” She gathers up another fistful before sprinkling some into the palm of the other’s hand. “Though I suppose it may fall short of being an actual meal.”

       “Let me finish these and then I’ll make you anything you want to eat that is an actual meal.” Asa tossed a few of the beans into her mouth. She couldn’t very well let Mine live on dark chocolate covered coffee beans alone, the girl needed other food in her.

“Ohh?” It wasn’t as though Mine was particularly opposed to cooking, in reality she was actually quite skilled at preparing meals for herself and Ayame (though she much preferred baking if she were being honest), but that didn’t mean she would turn down a free meal. “Perhaps something that’ll warm us up now that it’s beginning to get frigid outside! I can even help with the preparations!”
