this was literally just a shower thought and i really enjoyed writing this so i might possibly give this a part 2 :), lemme know if you’d like a series with this idea!- KR

your main goal- be better then everyone else that stood in your way.

those were your intentions upon entering high school as a first year. you never thought that one day that goal would come true; here you are sitting on a couch inside of an amazing talk show ready to be interviewed. you look down at your sweaty, trembling hands for a moment before taking a deep breath. “fuck (y/n)- just stay calm- you got this-” you mumbled out. you love your job but NEVER fancied interviews. being an idol wasn’t easy because you weren’t just an idol, you were one of the most well know and biggest in the country, probably the world (watch out bts (y/n)s coming for your spot 💅🏻). you took another deep breath before slapping your cheeks with both of your hands, something you’ve always done whenever you’re extremely nervous- as well as another small thing that came from your high school years. yes the slap stings to an extent, but it did help you cope with your anxiety. you stood up from the touch and stretched your arms trying to at least relieve a werid feeling in your body; groaing from the strain, you relax and sigh deeply. staring at your still sweaty hands, you clentch them whispering out ‘i got this’ and forcing a small smile before stepping backstage of the studio.

“now for the best part of the night!” the hostess exclaimed as she stood up with a huge grin on her face. “we all know who they are- they started it all in the small prefecture of Miyagi, Japan and now being one of the BIGGEST idols in all of the world-”. your stomach churned a little from your nerves at the words coming from the host’s mouth. you’re not sure if it’s just nerves or the lunch you had earlier but ya felt something. “pleave give a warm round of applause for (i/n)!” the hostess as well as the house stood up and applaud- some fans screaming your name as well as holding up banners with 'I LOVE YOU (I/N/!!’ written on them. walking from backstage towards the studio, you felt all the nerves from earlier fade away as you hear the cheering of your fans near you- you were a smiling mess.

you greeted the hostess with a warm hug and sat down in the chair next to her, looking over at the house with sparkling eyes. you were currently on break from tour and music, so it was a sight to see when you heard the similar noise of your fans calling out for you. waving with both hands, you greeted the crowd with an inaudible 'AYO’ as they cheered even harder for you. once they quiet down you let out a laugh of relief, “ahh my god- you guys never seem to let me down ehh?’ a couple of a fans screamed as to say 'yES NEVER WE LOVE YOU BITCH-’. you cover your face with your hands as you try to hide a face-aching smile as your fans agree with you.

"it is a literal HONOR to have YOU- (i/n)- join us in the studio today, it’s so amazing to finally meet you and to finally talk with you!” the hostess said with a gleaming look on her face. you could tell she was definitely a fan and you didn’t judge- you love your fans no matter what age range they fall in. you let out an exaggerated sigh, “i’m glad to be here, i almost shit myself from the nerves backstage- jesus-’ you cackled, the house as well as the hostess followed as they all let out little giggle fits of laughter.

as you two discussed your life as a famous person, how it all happened, scandals that you were in (👀 the scandal you’d probably have is you rumored to rob your favorite store or something 🤦🏻‍♀️-), blah blah blah- a specific question for some reason- it just hit you.. "alright alright, so- how was your love life back in high school ehh?? got anyone 'special’ at the moment hmm??” the was the hostess said it was very childish- her wiggling her eyebrows when she said 'special’- it really did make you laugh. deep down you felt something- like something was pulling at your heartstrings- you wanted that feeling back. “oh- uh- haha-” you chuckled nervously as you stumbled over your words- you weren’t quite sure why now. “i- was- uhh- i was a pretty lonely kid- and even now i’m still a hopeless romantic” you manage to force out with an embarrassed smile. you tried to remember your high school year memories but couldn’t think of anything- not until- “he” popped into your mind. “uh- there IS one time where i was actually in love- not sure if it was just a fever dream but got damn it felt amazing..” you spoke softly, moving your head down trying to hide yet ANOTHER smile- but this time it was a soft smile, one that someone would have if they were in love. the hostess wiggled her eyebrows aggressively as she spoke, “it was amazing, ehh??” causing the house to break into more fits or laughter from the joke. your head jolted up- cheeks flushed pink from the joke. “nOT LIKE THAT-” you yelled as you softly tapped her hand, chuckling, “you stinky.”

imma just say this now- im sorry if these are long ;-;- this kinda summarizes whats going on with your character- but dont worry, asahis appearance coming soon ;)
