HMMMMMM in hindsight i shouldāve given these more of a background. maybe iāll come back and add a lab backdrop for the both of themā on the left the kalos lab and on the right flare hq labs with the respective appropriate lighting. BUT here have this for now :3

hey perfectworld shippers how do we feel abt potentially meeting their ancestors
i for one would be thrilled if they decided to swap their personalities for their ancestors. Lysandre's ancestor is this smooth-talking, energetic guy meanwhile Sycamore's ancestor is constantly exhausted and prefers spending his time alone working on Lumiose improvement projects
Iām still not over that episode I keep rewatching it I needed to draw my feelings my heart so suffering /babbles on about these two babies
Parallelisms between Lysandre and Sycamore are always very much appreciated~
Anyway, look at their positions. Sycamore is almost in the center of the picture. Itās like heās coming to fill an empty space between Alain and Charizard: his coming doesnāt look so disturbing. Maybe the fact that heās a little bit moved on the left means that his visit is unexpected for Alain (or that the Professor is still very important for him, but he canāt be at the center of his thoughts anymore, since Alain has to stay away from him to protect him). Lysandre is extremely moved on the right. Not only his visit is unexpected, but Ash has no idea who this guy is. It looks like he interrupted something, also, itās interesting to note that while before the view was focused on Ash and his team, now the picture is almost fully dominated by Lysandre: the perspective of the image is built on his figure, it underlines his presence. The fact that heās coming close to the white line on the ground is another factor that makes you think that heās invading Ashās personal space. Lysandre is a stranger and heās suspicious. Also, is funny to note that Sycamore has to walk through light to arrive to Alain, while Lysandre has to walk through darkness to reach for Ash. In the end, Sycamore has good intentions, but we canāt say the same for Lysandreā¦
