I wanted to draw something that would make me happy and relieve a bit of stress so I drew Desmond in one of my favorite clips clip from my favorite Ghibli movie so, here he is.

I couldn’t draw the Desmond as Drosselmeyer because a lot of things came up (and a bit of art block) that finally when I got the chance to draw I didn’t have the time so I hope this is alright.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Here is my Desmond Valentine’s for this year. The first one says ‘Wishing you the most dazzling Valentine’s Day!’ And the second is simple ‘Happy Valentine’s Day!’

I wanted to draw him in a cute, fun Valentine’s Day/Hearts outfit and with a 80′s anime city pop vibe background. I hope I did him justice and I hope you enjoy it!

Desmond / Descole as Jekyll and Hyde

Happy Halloween! I’ve worked a lot as of late on this so I hope this looks alright.

This idea has been stewing in my mind for about a year or two with the hope that someday I can make an animatic for it to the musicals music. But I’m happy to have even made just a poster-esc type drawing.

Just some fun cute Desmond Sycamore icons,since I hadn’t changed mine since October and I thought it would be nice to redraw this as a low stress drawing after having trouble with the Sonia and Rauru drawing. Also I tried to see what this would look like with a pink hue to it since I’m very fond of it so here it is as well.

This is a bit of a side note, while drawing this I was looking at the last laughing drawing of Desmond I made and comparing how much it changed for the better in my thoughts. I hope you like them!

Desmond as Howl ~

Another fun Desmond as Howl that I made to help de-stress of one of my favourite shots from the movie. Funnily enough I finished this in a day and a half? Which might be the fastest I’ve finished a full digital piece. (Shows you what motivation to see something through can do I guess). I hope you like it as well!

I’m going to be posting this on the 14th for my birthday but have been stuck deciding which one to officially put when I’m done. (Now I’ll also be posting one along side the winner without glasses obscuring the frame.)

Desmond Sycamore on the Bostonius ~

I’m happy I managed to finish this early to post on my Birthday! I also got to finish another sketch to digital that kind of pairs with this one, I’ll be posting it a bit later.

Loosely based on that Klavier Gavin sprite pose when you first talk to him.

I thought it would be cute to draw him in the Bostonius looking for his glasses and the viewer finds them. Causing this still, I hope you like it!

Short synopsis of the songs with song links on keyword:

Transformation, focuses on Doctor Jekyll when he makes the elixir with a optimistic mindset only to transform to Hyde at the end. Most of the animation will consist on drawing Desmond till the last few seconds with Descole and him getting ready in his usual fit.

Confrontation, is when Doctor Jekyll has his final confrontation against Mr. Hyde. It shows a lot of emotion and range through its voices. It would allow a more back and forth approach between Desmond and Descole as an animatic.

We also had one where one of us didn’t have a tablet, so we all had to use our mouse and uh… well

I’m proud of that wide stance Ghetsus tho

As for perfectworldshipping what I think is that it is Very Good. Opposite/complementary aesthetics, complicated relationship, drama and size difference ? What is not to like ?
