Witold Pilecki a Polish resistance fighter against the NS regime during WW2. ➡️In collaboration with @bimboliquido.illustrations. He drew the lineart and most of the shading and I did the coloring and background 😉 🔥Please check out his profile!🔥 Now the story behind the Polish hero in short: During NS German occupation of Poland he deliberately went into the concentration camp in Auschwitz to organize the resistance from within. He managed to survive through collaboration with other inmates. 1943 he escaped and told the public what was going on inside these camps. No one believed him at first, because it sounded too horrible to be true. After WW2 ended Poland got occupied again this time by the Sowjets. In 1948 his life ended tragically. He got sentenced to death in 1948 for espionage. 🎶 There’s a song by the awesome band Sabaton about him called “Inmate 4859"😉 🔹 ❗Support me on ko-fi/ Redbubble etc. ➡️Link in bio: campsite.bio/silentrebel93 🔸Commissions open🔓DM 🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹 #witoldpilecki #warhero #polishhero #artcollaboration #artcollab #inmate4758 #nsregime #nazigermany #worldwar2 #nsoccupation #poland #geschichte #history #patriot #polska #resistance #armiakrajowa #polskibohater #ww2 #soldier #auschwitz #historicaluniforms #bimboliquido #silentrebelart #silentrebel93 https://www.instagram.com/p/CQWP6RfJ4gb/?utm_medium=tumblr

Adolf Hitler: "Nnnnooooooooo! It's impossoble! Imposiilbe that a Pole would spy on 3rd Reich so effectively and even from inside of my well-made death camp, where they can only die and even that Pole would create inside the death camp a conspiracy and even smartly working conspiracy!!! It's impossible!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!
Captain Witold Pilecki: "POSSIBLE!"
