Ava is becoming pretty good friends with some fellow travelers, Penelope and Jules! She’s even hinted at continuing their travels together when it’s time to leave Mt. Komorebi.
ava couldn’t pass up a perfect cozy knitting spot
Ava enjoyed some grilled fruit with her new buddies at Hanamigawa Koen Park. She also convinced Jules to push her on the swing and slipped in some extra hints to both of her new friends about the possibility of travelling more together.
After her, ah, nighttime escapade, Ava made some panicked phone calls before deciding to return to Hanamigawa Koen to cook some franks n’ beans at 3am because Ava please, call back later, it’s 3am bro.

Ava was finally able to meet up with Penelope at a nearby lounge. Despite them having just become friends, Ava decided to let it all out and voiced her fears about the abduction to Penelope. She did not expect Penelope’s response, however...

Ava: Soooo... this may sound super weird and I know we just met, like, a week ago, but.. I have to tell someone.
Penelope: ???
1 HOUR LATER...
A: …And then the beam set me down and that’s literally all I remember is the light and that circle in the sky and I swear to god I feel like I died and came back to life but now my body’s doing all these weird things idk what to do I’m only small -

P: Oh my gosh, Ava, this is amazing!!
A: Um, Penelope, thanks and all, but did you listen to the part about the light and the circle and the bodily changes???
P: No - I mean, yes, I did, and that’s all very freaky, I’m sure - but Ava! I know what this all means! I can help!
A: How do you... what do you mean you ‘know what this means’?
Suffice to say, Penelope’s reaction was not what Ava expected.

While some might have been rattled by the idea of being abducted and impregnated with an alien baby in less than a week and finding out their new bestie is also an alien, Ava has taken all of it in her stride. Because what’s adventure without a little risk?
She did decide, however, that further globetrotting would have to wait in favor of preparing for said baby.
All extra-terrestrial chaos aside, Ava still makes sure to take time to appreciate the beauty of Komorebi 🍃

Ava got an unexpected call from her best friend, Yvette, asking about her travels.
Yvette: “How much longer will you stay in Komorebi? I thought you’d be in Sulani by now!”
Ava: “Ahhh haha, yeah there’s been a bit of a hold up - nothing serious! But I think I’ll stay for a little bit longer. Just, ya know, enjoying the scenery and such.”
Ava took advantage of her extra time to do even more exploring. The Senbamachi Temple was just as beautiful at night is it was during the day.
