I’m thinking of writing a book on my au, might wanna do a bad ending cuz every tfcu has a good ending, I wanna break the cannon 👹👹👹

"i miss the girl you were," wednesday admitted, a glint of something melancholic in her eyes.

enid scoffed, a plume of smoke escaping her lips. do you really? or is it someone else you miss?

sunken red eyes glared into inky pools and with a voice hoarse from disuse, snarled. "i gutted that bitch from the inside out."

"that night," enid slurred slowly, trying to keep heavy eyelids open. "what did you wish for?"

cradling the wolf's head in her lap, wednesday replied softly, as if to keep a secret from being overheard. "...to meet my soulmate."

as if understanding the weight of their conversation, nothing else was heard but the noise of the forest. their mingled breathing hardly registering in the dense foilage.

breaking the silence, the blonde shakily breathed out her question. "did you?"

"...yes," whispered the goth, laying her forehead against her roommate's and ignoring the stubborn tears forming behind her closed lids upon hearing the stuttering sounds of breathing turn into a rattling wheeze.

If there's one thing I learned

Leaning heavily on the bathroom counter, the blonde wolf took a shuddering breath

it's that people like me

Glancing at herself in the mirror, she saw as her eyes fought to remain their usual cerulean instead of burning scarlet

aren't made for happy lives

Scowling, Enid bared her sharpened canines at the face staring back at her

with happy endings.

And with a swing of her fist

There's no silver lining

Broke the mirror into pieces

or a light at the end of the tunnel.

Then, with a painted smile, watched the love of her life marry someone else

There never was.

Know what would be cool? If the bad ending au had a happy ending!! Never let ur enemies guess ur next move!!

enid's battling her demons and trying to keep them to herself, but it's getting harder and harder

add to that, the emotional upheaval of seeing someone else marry the love of your life? they're really struggling
