Some time ago our D&D party might accidentally have released a lich. It was bad times. The cryptic rune-poem in the bottom is provided by Simon Greve.

So when making custom spells for dnd its a good idea to see if we can modify an existing spell to fit the purpose by swapping some things out.
Also this spell is more for flavour than useful in combat. Specifically as a BBEG spell. Since its pretty evil
The way the flesh to stone spell works is that you make a save on fail you suffer a condition (restrained) and on three failed saves you suffer a second condition (petrified) as these conditions become permanent until dispelled.
Introducing "Evards curse of the lost"
First it induces the frightened condition specifically rendering the target frightened of all creatures...then the stronger condition invisible, making this the first spell to curse an enemy with invisibility as a debuff.
The target will be permanently cursed unable to approach their own allies for help or be found by them. Doomed to wander forever cursed with overwhelming fear of anything they see, yet unable to be seen.
"How can you get help when those who would wish to do so cannot see you and through fear you cannot lead them to you ?"

for those wanting some lore, she used to be a human but Effed around with eldritch shenanigans and Found Out, so now she's a doll who sees the fourth wall as as vague suggestion!
