"Y/N I apologize, my star, but I must leave for the meeting. You know how important they are. I'll be back soon ok?"
You felt your body tremble when his hand left yours, panic filling you with negative thoughts. You quickly stood up, hugging DJ from behind.
"Please Nova... I love you."
DJ thought for a moment, leaning his head orb back a little. He sighed, turning himself around to face you as he dropped down to his knee, bringing a hand up to your cheek.
"I love you too, and I always will. I'll be back. I always do. Why would I ever want to leave the most important person I love most in my life?"
You sighed from his touch, leaving your face into his larger hand. You knew he loved you, but you couldn't help but beg for him to stay by your side always. People in your life have said the same thing and they always ended up leaving you heartless and broken. You were toyed with people you thought you loved, but always had the thought in the back of your mind Nova would do the same, knowing about his ego and all.
You always wondered if people betrayed you because you weren't worth it, or people just never wanted to be around you because... you were you, or you were just that easy gullible to think people wanted to befriend you to actually be your friend and not to use you.
You felt tears start following down from your eyes to your cheeks, pulling Nova closer to you as you embraced him fully. Oh his large size and how he held you put you at ease. You wished you could stay in that position forever. It eased you from the negative thoughts of people always leaving you.
"Y/N I don't tell you this enough, but your my world, my galaxy. The person that keeps me in line and tells me when to slow down and think. You're the greatest gift that this universe has ever given to me. You're truly my love, my Alpha..."
You felt Nova lean his orb down to kiss your forehead, feeling of what felt like light sparks. It never hurt feeling the sparks. It just made you feel more tingly as the butterfly's in your stomach become more apparent. Your hands travel behind his back, bringing him close to you as much as you could. No words were needed at this moment. All you could do was cry as Nova held you in his arms, doing his best to comfort you, but he couldn't stay for long.
"Be well my star light. I must leave now. I'll call you when I'll be coming back home." Nova whispered against your forehead, lifting your head up so he could kiss you on the lips.
The short kiss felt like eternity until he pulled away, his orb nuzzling your forehead one last time before he sat up. He headed towards the closet to put a jacket on and grabbed his suitcase, turning himself around to face you.
"I'll be back. I promise..."
That was the last thing Nova said before leaving out the door. You didn't feel as anxious like before, but after what Nova told you, you felt more secure with your guys relationship, his words touched you so. So far in your relationship he hasn't done anything to betray your trust, but of course there were arguments from time to time. You felt like you could trust yourself now and Nova.
With that pleasant thought in mind, you went upstairs and grabbed one of Nova's hoodies, bringing it close to you as you laid on your side on your guys bed. You could still smell the cologne on his hoodie as you brought it close, a sigh of relief escaping your lips as the scent calmed you. You'd be waiting for Nova's return, but in the mean time, you now know Nova will always come back for you, no matter what will come between you two.
