I sit on the roof of my house staring absentmindedly at the stars. The night was dark as coal and the only source of light were the stars and the moon. There was a light breeze tonight. The town was currently experiencing a blackout. I heard the window open and a familiar voice call me "Piggy?.." I turned my head towards Billy and smiled.
I patted my hand next to me "Come join me love" He tilted his head ever so slightly and looked away. He slowly crawled all the way out of the window. He pulled himself up onto the roof and laid next to me. He kept fidgeting with his hands and twitching.
I grab his hand and intertwine it with mine. I brought his hand to my lips and kissed it. I turned towards him and stared in his eyes lovingly. "I love you so much Billy, you mean everything to me" His eyes widen and he smiles wide. "I love you too pretty piggy!" He says excitedly gripping my hand tighter.
I chuckle "Babe please loosen your grip I can't feel my hand" He stutters and blushes "Sorry piggy!-" I bring my hand to his cheek and caress it. He closes his eyes and makes a noise similar to a purr. I just stare at him with nothing but love and adoration. It started getting really chilly out so I sat up.
"C'mon Billy let's go inside" He opens his eyes and begrudgingly gets up. We climb through trh window and head towards the bed. I know he prefers the attic but he'll freeze to death if he stays there. I pull the covers back and starts to may down. I walk over to my dresser and take off my clothes and put on some pj's. I head over to the bed where Billy is now laying with covers over his head. I climb into bed and pull the blanket over my body. ". You good Billy?" I ask, I don't get a response. I pull the covers and see his sleeping peacefully. He lets out cute soft snores. I smile to myself and close my eyes and succumb to sleep.
