various past eurovision contestants are campaigning for the removal of israel and some national finalists are now choosing to boycott. olly alexander, who will rep the uk, condemned the palestinian genocide and was subsequently attacked by israeli media (in a blatant rule violation the ebu did nothing about)
slovenian broadcaster rtvslo is purportedly trying to negotiate the removal of israel
1000 artists from host country sweden are preparing to send an open letter to the ebu to ban israel; the swedish left wing has also called for israel to be removed immediately
iceland is officially threatening to boycott eurovision pending the removal of israel
word on the street is that if iceland does compete, it will send palestinian artist bashar murad who is openly anti-israel and has collabed with previous icelandic reps hatari, aka the guys who did this back in 2019
iceland is now leading in the odds whereas israel has been steadily dropping, suggesting that the bookies are aware israel is becoming increasingly unpopular
lastly, in a move so ridiculous i'm beginning to suspect eurovision is a figment of our collective imagination, israel is seemingly gearing up to enter eden golan, a moscow-based russian singer. while russia is still banned for terrorism.
if you're european: please contact your participating broadcaster and demand for the removal of israel, or try to contact your nation's selected artist to put pressure on the broadcaster. if you're swedish, please try contacting svt or authorities with security concerns regarding the inclusion of israel. if israel does enter eden golan, complain about her selection and ties to russia. and absolutely DO NOT vote on, watch or promote this show if israel does end up competing.

Of course. some people are the children of zionists, or their caregivers just don't boycott. Here are ways to boycott despite this.
- If caregivers ask if you want McDonald's, Dominos, etc for a meal, decline if you can and make yourself something else or ask for something else. Even if they still buy from those places, any less money towards genocide is less money towards genocide.
- Offer to help grocery shopping and pick out brands that DON'T support Israel. You can mask it as wanting to try something new or hearing about the brand from a friend.
- If caregivers offer to take you to Starbucks (etc), decline.
- Thrift and shop from independent grocers. Often times, these stores (especially whole food markets and organic grocers) do NOT stock things from large corporations, so if you're with a caregiver, they may not to be tempted to buy from zionist companies, and it works for a good cover for not buying from megacorps.
- If caregivers made plans to go to Disney Land/World and you can't back out, don't buy from the gift shops. Of course you can't not eat while at the parks, but not buying from the gift shop is a good way to not give money to Disney.

Eurovision is now lying about Israel and Russia. The Eurovision organiser EBU is suggesting Russia wasnāt banned due to invading Ukraine, a lie that even their own website disproves.
The EBU says the Israel situation is āfundamentally differentā from Russia in 2022. They suggest they didnāt kick Russia out of Eurovision because they invaded Ukraine, they kicked Russia out of the EBU for unrelated reasons.
Exceptā¦ thatās not what happened! In 2022, the EBU had announced Russia would be kicked out of Eurovision āin light of the unprecedented crisis in Ukraineā.Ā Ā
The Russian broadcasters responded to being booted from Eurovision by announcing their intention to withdraw from the EBU, which the EBU reported via their website.
So why are they now saying something else happened? Itās a lie. The EBU kicked Russia out of Eurovision before the Russian broadcasters left the EBU. This is clearly an attempt to distance themselves from their (quite right) decision to remove a country from Eurovision.
But the fact is, the EBU created a precedent for themselves of removing a country due to war and now they want to pretend that never happened so they donāt have to take action against Israel.Ā
