*darkfyretheumbrawitch added:  The energy of the curse is stored and in stasis until the person “triggers” it. Usually it’s to try and deter them from some action. I have one set up on a family member causing pain to themselves and those around them. If they continue the curse will be “triggered”. - I feel this could be helpful for many of these curses.
