Aang is with the children of the group at the South Pole festival, this is where I realize that Kya does not have her perfect double like Tenzin or Bumi with Lin and Izumi.
The deeper context would be that he and Katara picked up Zuko and Toph's children to walk them with their own whenever they had the opportunity.
Kya is the real loser in this combo.
I like to think that she was an innate conqueror and had girlfriends in every nation... But deep down she always want her destined double like the other idiots.
Here trying to imagine what a date between Princess Izumi and Bumi would be like in their youth. She makes an excuse of having to buy things so he can help her ðŸ¤
As an extra piece of information, I like to think of Bumi as very attached to his roots from the Water tribe of the South Pole.
COSTUME PARTY!!
So imagine this in a more modern era and let's go from there:
Bumi and Izumi obviously combine like the newly established couple that they are, they want to be the coolest in the place (Zuko has problems with that design and Katara is proud of how the embroidery turned out).
Kya is not properly disguised, her outfit is inspired by a Lana del Rey outfit, in her head the ideal was "beautiful and mysterious", now she just needs to wait for her date to arrive.
My favorites, Tenzin, Lin and little Suyin. Tenzin went with everything, the beautiful costume that his mother made him with a lot of love, prepared to show off and receive a couple of compliments from Lin, who is combined with his sister, being her a bee and Su a flower (The idea was obviously Sokka, Toph only provided the money and permission), however Tenzin is not getting the attention he wants because Su is committed to hoarding his sister.
And that would be, you don't know how much I enjoyed doing this, it's consuming me ðŸ¤âœ¨
