Burning Cds - Tumblr Posts

feeling hideously stupid for wasting 2 hours and as many CDs trying and failing to burn multiple albums bc i couldn't get them into separate folders so it fucked up the order

after i had lichrally learned how to do it months ago and then apparently forgot soooo HI FUTURE ALY READ THIS BEFORE BURNING CDs -- a tutorial:

1. DO NOT use windows media player or burrrn or itunes or literally any program stick to windows folders

2. insert blank CD

3. open it IN FOLDER VIEW, selecting the cd for CD PLAYER option then Data CD

4. copy albums to the CD's FOLDER

5. rename albums so that they're in alphabetical order, and same with tracks within

e.g. for i = 1, ...., #albums name them "i - album(i)_name (album(i)_year)". and tracks -> "01 track1.mp3" etc

6. right click in the damn window and select 'burn to cd' or something to that effect

literally that's it girl you've got your folders in the CD. but for the love of god stay in windows explorer folders and do not open any other program ever you'll be tempted to use them but they suck and are awful and stupid and they suck. so
