....small girl perks
i keep seeing everyone freaking out over ushijima being 6′4″ and bokuto being 6′3″. having been with someone that same height as a short girl, i feel like i should contribute.
▸ if you think he won’t just manhandle you, you’re wrong. ▸ he’s flipping you over, lifting you up, bending you in any and every position that you may not have even thought was possible. ▸ you will be completely caged in if he wants to lean down over you. ▸ i mean, you’ll have arms under your shoulders and using your head as leverage to fuck you harder. ▸ big hands means he can choke you easier. ▸ also means he can put more strength behind it. ▸ bruises. ▸ SO MANY BRUISES. ▸ big men don’t realize their strength, so you get spanked? even once? you ain’t sitting down for a while. ▸ so much cum. you’ll be stuffed full. ▸ bigger fingers are easier to choke on. ▸ and the amount you’ll be moaning? he’ll be wanting to stuff them in your mouth to make you be quiet

I don´t need any applause, I´m just going to do what I need to do.
Bokuto: I don't know how to talk to him!
Kuroo: Just act mature and you'll be fine
[Later]
Akaashi: Bokuto-san, are you doing anything later?
Bokuto: The Taxes

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. My brain kinda went "woah" and then my hands were like "do it".

Yes plenty of people have done this now but I don't care, I wanted to satisfy myself with the Miya twins okay, hush--it's late.

Pls... I beg of you for a crumb of Oikawa and Atsumu discourse. They are my fav characters and people really act like they were insignificant to the plot and like their struggles weren’t the ones that were the most ever present throughout their lives
okay, imma try to keep this short but let’s see how long this actually turns out because fuck i know that if @demxnscous reads this, she already knows most of it but i gotta share.
so, let’s start off together. I’m going to be working off my memory because I’m too lazy to look up the manga panels and stuff. But Oikawa and Atsumu drove the plot. Oikawa and Atsumu are not antagonist characters, they are foil characters. They are meant to represent the opposite and contrasting characteristics of Kageyama’s personalities.
Let’s take a deeper look shall we.
Oikawa Tooru is a man who works with his team, he accommodates and shapes everyone to be the best of their abilities. Oikawa is called a King, but I believe he is a General. He leads his team, he cares for his team, he cries with his team, he loves them. Oikawa is a foil character because he represents the aspect of Kageyama that he hasn’t achieved. In the beginning, Kageyama doesn’t work well his team, he doesn’t know how to accommodate, sure he’s talented but he believes that if people can’t hit his tosses then it’s their fault. Another thing is that Kageyama doesn’t trust his team and Oikawa sees this. If you can’t trust your team, then you’re just stuck.
I wouldn’t say that Kageyama beat or overcame Oikawa, I would say that Kageyama overcame himself. Kageyama learned from Oikawa that yes, you need to have faith in your teammates, and you need to learn to match their tempo; not expect them to match your tempo.
Miya Atsumu is a foil character that represents the confidence and the flexibility that Kageyama ends up having. I remember clearly when Atsumu called Kageyama a “goody two shoes.” and I thought, wtf does that mean this bitch being mean to my kageyama yeah i used to hate him for like half a day but then it hit me, i understood what Atsumu was saying. Kageyama had become too accommodating, to the point that he was too scared to push his teammates to become better. Atsumu pinpoints that in Kageyama and I know people who hate Atsumu are like he’s so arrogant so cocky but you know what I learned in life. you need that, you need to be arrogant and cocky sometimes, why? because it pushes the people around you to become better because they want to match you.
We see this in Tsukishima, when Kageyama finds out that the way he sets to Tsukishima is actually undermining his true and actual abilities. Hinata points out that Tsukki actually is able to jump higher but when Kageyama sets to him Tsukishima jumps lower; because Kageyama had become accommodating, too unwavering in wanting to set just a little higher.
Once again, Kageyama overcame himself. He learned that he needed to be arrogant, he needed to toss just a little higher to push his teammates. He needed that flexibility Atsumu has to be able to change and push his team.
this wraps up our first hour; in the next section, we will talk about why and how Oikawa and Atsumu are actually very different people despite how much we joke that they are the same people just different fonts.
