Idc what anyone says—I get Richard Cameron.
Obviously his parents most likely weren’t as intense as Mr. Perry, but he’s at a very fancy rich people boarding school. They’re bound to be furious if he fucks that up.
He’s an anxious guy, a follower, teachers pet, wtv you wanna call it. He hates breaking the rules. He pushed himself so far just to join the DPS. Of course, when Nolan pressured him, he cracked.
He was convinced into thinking Keating was in the wrong, and that he was somehow responsible for Neil’s death. He signed the paper, and was praised for it.
Now, that’s not saying that the way he talked to the rest of the boys was in any way okay, and they did try to talk him through it and make him see it clearly. We as the viewers, saw a lot of things that he didn’t, being a character. We saw Neil and his interactions with Mr. Keating and Mr. Perry, and how they influenced him. Cameron never saw this.
I get it.
