Okay, hot take? Bisexual and pansexual are functionally synonyms, and the decision to ID as one or the other comes down to personal preference and interpretation, and any attempt to further separate the two is driving a wedge between two communities that should have nothing but love and solidarity for one another.
We have more in common than not, and the words for our respective identities should not be pitted against each other.

I grew up watching Voyager and TNG with my mom. Some episodes were about lasers and robots and weird aliens, but sometimes my mom would ask me the question 'what real world controversy is this really about?' So were they lasers or were they symbols of imperialistic violence? Were they robots or were they about how we quantify life, and where do we draw the line for rights? Were they weird aliens or was it about Bosnian refugees? And sometimes they were subtle about it, but even when I was pretty young i understood things like... war crimes and personhood.
So like... maybe yall just weren't paying attention?

In Debate, the debaters here do nothing. We play games, or talk, or do assignments from other classes. Yet somehow, we always cancel out? We do nothing. Except for like, the older students, who are actually responsible. We have a sub today. She seems nice. She’s on her phone. Okay I am boring.
Notes on the VP Debate
Everybody keeps saying that "Donald Trump built a business, he built a great business" but nobody seems to understand that America is not a business. The whole world depends on it. And the thing is, I'm not even American, so these debates don't affect me the way they do the American people, but it still disappoints me to see our culture go back to the state it was decades ago. It's disappointing and scary.

For the walrus-fairy debate.
My mom answered with no question walrus. My dad was very confused as to why we would believe in fairies and thus said fairy.
I’m team walrus, I don’t live near the sea and I don’t assume a walrus would knock. I’d be surprised if fairies existed but I would accept it.
