Image 1: Sunny stared at the shell of his friend looming over him, the animatronic cougar's eyes glared with a strange purple hue...it was such a far cry from their usual cool teal; and his mouth gaped wide open. It was as if he'd lunge for Sun at any moment and tear into him with those bright fangs. "Oh Minnow...what happened to you...?"
Image 2: It's not uncommon for parents to film their kids meeting an animatronic for the first time. Something else that wasn't uncommon was kids bringing stuffed animals to the Pizzaplex- as long as they were kept an eye on. I like to call this one "Top ten videos taken before disaster"
Images 3 & 4: Minnow feeling the effects of the Afton Virus, he knows something isn't right, but it's hard to make out what when you're being mind controlled. That poor dolphin didn't stand a chance, don't worry- the boy isn't dead...but not uninjured.
Image 5: While Minnow isn't the most popular of the characters in the Pizzaplex, he is a bit of a star in his own right. The kids love attending his feeding times; and his shantys aren't too shabby either! You'll see posters like these around the outside of Kid's Cove.

I was itching to make a human Minnow design, so here he is >:3 featuring my very rushed design for Sunny (I really wanted to draw him too 😭)
You all will be happy to know I've had a TwiPie kid in my pocket for years, her name is Evening Glow and she has psychic visions! She is very in tune with spiritually, tarot readings, and future seeing. I have more art of her but it's older so I've been reworking it to fit her current design 👍💕💕 Also the little reddish pink kid next to her in the family photo is her older half brother- Calamity (my PinkieCord kid) ✌
When Eve was younger her strongest psychic visions would create migraines, since they were too much for her to handle at the time.
She could never really tell ponies what she saw, they were usually too "far away" for her to reach in her head- and would only understand them once it actually happened. For a while during her childhood, ponies didn't believe her when she said she had visions.
Calamity tries to be the best older brother to Eve, and would tone himself down whenever she'd get sick; he'd also make her favorite foods and help get her to sleep with stories.
I had a lot of tasty food this past weekend, it made me think of how much Sweet would enjoy the meals too!
The meals shown are chicken ramen, braised beef ramen, biscuits with sausage gravy, a sweet potato waffle with cinnamon butter, a very sloppy bacon burger, brown sugar milk tea with honey boba, and various dessert videos from instagram 🍔🍜🍥🍫🎂🍽
Calamity hung his head low as he sat with his Mother and sister...he couldn't help but feel like an outsider to all this formal royalty stuff. The importance of it all really weighed on him, and he was scared.
The draconiquis had felt so low about his upcoming coronation, usually he'd be thrilled to be attending any party- but this felt different. This was bigger than just any party, it was gonna be dozens of ponies looking to him, expecting him to be a prince of Equestria...or even worse, expecting him to ruin everything. He couldn't stand the thought of disappointing everyone.
Eve had noticed her brother's recent behavior, it wasn't like him to sulk around. It took a while before she could, but she sat down with him in a quiet spot, and told him everything. Her insecurities, the gossip, her own conflicted feelings about it all.
Everything she said resonated with Cotton in some way. He was almost furious with himself for being so unobservant to his sister's mistreatment- but that wasn't the reason she brought it up. A moment passes before he says anything; Cal thanks Eve for telling him and threatens to turn whoever looks at her funny into a chair. They laugh. They vow to get through it together. The pair return to Twilight, waiting for them so they all can leave for Ponyville.
They feel a little less alone.
"Twi, did you see where he went? I swear he went this way! Calamity?? Cal, if you come out I'll give you a lollipop~!"
"Pinkie, you can't bribe him into bath time with a lollipop! I tried that already..."
I KNOW WE'LL BE THE BEST OF FRIENDS, SO THERE'S NO NEED TO RUN!!
SO WHY RESIST WHEN THE PARTY'S JUST BEGUN!!!

I actually have a lot to say about my design choices for these two so we'll start with the phantom 🐺
- I made him a wolf because I wanted him to be big and intimidating, I wanted him to loom over Christine anytime I draw them together.
- Wolves also have beautiful singing voices when it comes to their howls. I also thought a wolf lended itself really well to the complex way the phantom "hunts" down and stalks those who stands in his way.
- They are also extremely pack oriented, likely to persih if they don't, at the very least, have a mate. I see the phantom's love for Christine as it is in the original context, but with the added sting; him trying to marry her is his last ditch effort to form the pack he never had.

Okay we're back!!!
-So for Christine, I made her a sheep for the obvious parallels of her being preyed upon by the Phantom, who is a wolf. This is classic storytelling in design and I feel like you already know the dynamic even if you don't know Phantom of the Opera.
-I feel like the way Christine sings would be very easy to see a sheep sing, especially in her vibrato. I just thought that aspect was a good fit, as well as her big curly hair :>
-Lastly, in the play her dress is almost purely blue with white accents, but I added the yellow to connect her with the Phantom's yellow eyes; showing that he is a part of her and the way she performs. It also reminded me of beauty and the beast, while not a direct connection, I feel like the title and concept lend itself well to Phantom as a story.
