I know this is kind of forbidden question but have to ask for science : If they could put the girl into their backpack, is it possible they could put Crystal into backpack and bring her through mirror? This is very important if so I'm gonna get the Cat King sneak into backpack and blame it for cat's usual behavior I need him in their office in London

I really want to see the Cat King dressed as an Edwardian gentleman so I wrote a short one. sorry for my poor English!

"You are ridiculous," Edwin almost shouted. "You cannot walk around in those, outdated, outfit."

Everyone looked at Edwin. Charles and Crystal perched at the desk, as Edwin faced an unexpected visitor in the middle of their office.

"Outdated? Who's wearing outdated school uniform for decades? Not that I don't like it." The Cat King replied.

He stood tall before Edwin, too proudly, in an outfit that made Edwin freeze in disbelief.

"I have no problem with that. No one can see us except ghosts." Edwin said.

"So why are you making such a fuss? They only see me, and I'm perfectly fine being watched."

The Cat King made an elegant gesture to show himself. He was wearing a black frock coat and a top hat, a cane in his hand.

"He has a point," Charles chimed in. "No one can see you, Edwin."

"Charles? You're supposed to be on my side!" Edwin accused him in disbelief.

The Cat King pointed at Charles, looking pleased.

"Crystal! Help me out!" Edwin pleaded.

"Yeah. he's insane." She was busy with her fingernails. "Honestly, who cares? Just get on with it."

The Cat King laughed at her honesty, and turned towards the door. Edwin looked at his friends hoping for help, but Charles just shrugged.

"Come on, Edwin. A gentleman shouldn't keep his date waiting outside."

As the voice came from downstairs, Edwin took a deep breath and mumbled.

"You are not my date."

Edwin strode through the door, leaving his friends behind.

I got an odd idea that the Cat King hovering around the dead boys office (don't ask why or how), so Charles banned him, Edwin concerned "But what if he has an important case?" then Charles declared the Cat King banned in human form. He thought this way he couldn't be a threat. The Cat King agreed to condition and decided to sit on Crystal's lap. Crystal had confused but the Cat King acted really nice cat for her, so she took him as new friend. Now both boys got jealous and making Crystal even more confused.

What I like the Cat King's last scene is that Edwin completed his task. After a little cheek kiss, they shared fond smile and a nod, which they hadn't show each other entire time. Then Edwin turned and back to his normal self, gave him number of cats perfectly. Like he's going back to the Cat King's game and take over. Like he's okey involving into the Cat King's game and they can play again. The Cat King's smile back to his usual self too. They are not in love in this moment but there are many possibilities, to become friends or competitor, or more. I mean, they are not going to be love-love relationship, but there's something dangerous, yet enjoyable, the game full of wit only they can understand.

I'm writing catwin-centerd fic for few days currently it's 10000+ letters in Japanese and nothing happened between them yet but I became obsessed with another idea of Edwin/Monty/The Cat King and it will be only smut without plot. no one can help me and they all are switch

In my head after the season 1 the Cat King starts fiddling Edwin's wrist when he flirts with Edwin. Edwin knows it is not immoral action it's just a wrist but that reminded him of magic bracelet and his first meeting with the Cat King, so ~insert flash back of the Cat King in bedchamber~

I know the Cat King is an antagonist, a predator, a bad cat as sexy as possible, and Catwin is not gonna be endgame, therefore I will write tons of Catwin endgame fanfic and no one can stop me

I personally think Esther was the reason the Cat King lived in that small town, protecting feral cats from the witch. Writing a fanfic about it but have no intention to translate, here's short part of it:

After the Cat King made a deal with Esther, a cat came to him, went with like "wow thank you Sir! My King! Your majesty? Sire? what do I address you?" The Cat King laughed, "Whatever. I'm a King without crown." Then the cat had an idea, "Come with me. I have a crown for you" then the cat led him to the abandoned warehouse, which had a mark with crown.

forgotten to add, the deal they had included "Do not put a magic on cats", so that rule led to Catwin meeting.

I don't mean therefor he's a good guy, or justify his actions. He is a King of cats so I think he took some responsibility for his cats. He don't protecting all the cats all the time technically, but has borderline. If someone step in that line, they'll have consequences. And he only care himself and his cats, for he had done nothing about little girl's disappearance. For his part, he cannot intervene the witch's act. Remember, he is a cat, a king, a villain, a man who has his own thoughts, emotions and choices. And very selfish I love that.

The fact Edwin could make the Cat King unrest for pointing out their similar loneliness. At first I thought the last scene was a payback for the Cat King's whole game. But was it actually a payback for made him say about leniency in the lighthouse? And Edwin did it without magic. Definitely Edwin 1 - 0 the Cat King

Still thinking about the Cat King being DBDA office in London. His magic is sooo powerful and convenience to help them solving cases but he ignores it completely, just waiting for Edwin to come back from fieldwork in his desk like a cat loaf.

And when Edwin's back, he simply grab the Cat King and put him on empty box on floor, starts inspecting information they gathered like nothing had happened

If Edwin hadn't so confused by Monty's change of mood and sudden appearance of the Cat King, he would've cut the Cat King off of his line 'Bullshit astrology-' like "No, astrology isn't bullshit. Sure it is not always so accurate, but has a long history even longer than your whole lives and we have this lovely tome for starter which you should try. Oh and my friend here can read your damned fate. Monty?" Monty gonna be like "…Leo?"

I like the difference between Edwin/Monty/The Cat King about knowledge

Edwin: Knows many things and still eager to learn except modern technology Monty: Barely knows things but eager to teach The Cat King: Knows so many things but not eager to teach (Crystal had to convince him to teach about Esther)

I wanna watch them team up together for some case. It'll be chaotic trio, while boys are trying to solve the case but the Cat King choose not to be helpful and just watching them lazily, yawning, occasionally trying to flirt with Edwin.

Since both Edwin and the Cat King being Diva, I wanna watch the scene where Crystal stopped their argument like "Okey drama queens that's enough". Renew Dead Boy Detectives season 2

The Cat King made Edwin trapped in the town, but the Cat King himself could ever leave from his kingdom? In fanfiction yes he do, but in canon... what if he is trapped too?😿

When catwin is dating, a client came to DBD office and noticed there are a cat sleeping peacefully on couch and mentioned it, Edwin brushed off casually "Oh don't mind about my boyfriend"

Honestly, the Cat King's shapeshifting skill has so much potential in story so I put it there.
