Here’s a snippet from the last seven lines of my current wip [Sunny Mage], taken from chapter 48:

Sunny rolled her eyes, “Please don’t tell her that. She’s got a big enough head.”

“I won’t.”

With a final fleeting look, Ervin started his walk back to the campus. Sunny stayed back a while. She admired the way the light hit Lake Spell just the right way to make it glisten. Above her, the sky was clear.
